I usually find myself skipping class and ending up hiding in the school library. Something about how the shelves lining the walls filled with books makes me feel so calm and unbothered by the things happening around me is so refreshing.
When i browse through each shelf reading each book spine i feel at ease no matter how stressed or how uncomfortable i feel that day a trip to a cozy barely ever full library makes me feel a kind of calm i never seem to get anywhere else.
The books old and new have unique and different stories and I'm not talking about the ones written in ink i mean the ones the book itself shows. These stories are something i will never be able to properly read but i like to pretend i can like how i imagine a book with pages falling out and a weak spine have been so loved to a point of destruction. As i walk the isles of books looking for the right one to pick out from the crowd.
Only one book manages to stand out most to me. The book is one with many stories inside the stories of love, compassion, and patients.
The library is my most beloved spaces to be.
