In the stairwell

Adin gathered her backpack and materials and started walking out of class. She walked down the hallway, sighing. Why are none of her friends in her classes? She slowly walked down the stairs when suddenly she felt pressure on her back, and she was shoved. She started falling helplessly. "Mount Everest!" One of the boys who shoved her insulted her for being tall. "Giraffe!" One of the others spoke up. Suddenly, she saw someone drop all of their bags and rushed to her aid. He caught her and she realized it was Rogan. "T-thanks." Adin spoke up. Rogan snarled. She dropped her lightly and shoved her onto the floor. "Stay out of this." Adin was enraged, Rogan had shoved her! But suddenly she saw him sprint up the stairs. He grabbed one of the boys by the backpack and shoved him down the stairs. He tripped on the last step and fell onto the floor. Rogan then grabbed the other one and shoved him down as well. "You'll be sorry." Rogan snarled before jumping down the stairs and punched them both in the faces. He turned around to make sure that Adin was alright but he was shoved to the side. The boys started walking towards Adin, enraged. Rogan stood up, running to her aid. He grabbed her collar and pinned her to the wall, acting as a shield. He snarled before kicking one of them in the nuts from behind. One of the bullies groaned before collapsing. Adin suddenly realized how close Rogan was and blushed. Rogan noticed Adin blushing but didn't care. He quickly spun around and punched the other one. Both on the floor. He quickly grabbed his backpack and left, leaving Adin there almost paralyzed.

Adin's eyes widened when passing time quickly ended. She snapped out of her trance and walked to her next class, varsity orchestra.
