Chapter 1

I was walking down the hallway to my speeding class (for vampires, to increase their running speed) when I ran into Ash who was going to Controlling class (for Werewolfs to control their hunger and anger so they won't change and kill a lot of people)

"Hey Ash!" I say showing my fangs when I smiled "*laugh* You hungry Nat?" Ash says looking at me "Ya, kinda. I skipped breakfast this morning because I slept in" I say "*giggle* Your lucky I brought a blood pack today" Ash says handing me the bag "*Gasp* OMG I love you!" I say staring at the bag and grabbed it "Wow! I rarely see you with your red eyes" Ash says looking at my eyes "Well ya! Thats because I control my hunger and stuff but I am just so hungry!!!!" I say and then sinking my fangs into the bag and leaving it dry. "Was that good?" Ash asked with a smirk "Lovely" I say teasing "*laugh* I'll see you after class" Ash says walking away. "Ok everyone, I want you all to to run as fast as you can down there then back. Ready............ Set.............. Go!" My teacher screamed as we ran.

I ran as hard as I could to beat everyone but when I was coming back Ayden caught up. Crap. So I speeded up and finally beat him! Yes! Thank you!

"Nice job love" Ayden said to me "Thanks." I say awkwardly "Did you hear about the five new students that are coming tomorrow?" Ayden asked "Ya, why?" I say "Just trying to make conversation thats all." Ayden says very awkwardly "Ok then............... Well.....,.... Bye!" I say walking away "Bye" Ayden says walking the other way

I kinda felt awkward around him and shy but I don't care, He's a nice boy (from what I know) so I was ok with him talking to me. When class was finally over it was Lunch time and this is the time when I get to hang out with Mellody and Ash. I walked down the hall and I found Ash talking to her teacher and when I finally got her out we headed towards the pool. When we got there we saw that Mellody wasn't out of the water again. My favorite part about Mellody as a Mermaid was her tail, it was the perfect shade of pink and her hair was a light pink with a strapless pink top. I would have suggested to have blue or light blue because I love that color, but I think that Mellody looks very good in that color so I never complained.

"Hey guys" Mellody says popping up from the water "Hey Mellody, we want some lunch so are you gonna get out or what?" I asked "Ya, just give me a moment." Mellody says and she swims to the other side of the pool. "I'm going to the locker room so I won't get slashed, you coming Ash?" I asked "Ya" Ash says following me behind the locker room door

Mellody swam full speed then leaped out of the pool and when she landed on the pool deck she was a human again and was full dry, but we had to give her a towel. After Mellody changed we went to the cafeteria to grab some lunch. I ordered a burger with A positive blood as a drink and went to the table my friends and I sat at.

"Hey Did you hear about the five new students?" Ash says eating her salad "Ya I know Ayden told me" I say taking a bite into my burger "*laugh* How did Ayden tell you? You don't talk to him" Mellody says giggling and bitting into her seaweed that she got "Well we were racing in Speed class and he just brought it up." I say taking another bite of my burger "While you guys were running?" Ash asked taking another bite in her salad "*giggle* No. We were done running." I say smirking "Ok then. So do you think that their gonna be Werewolfs or Ghosts or Vampires or Mermaids?!" Ash asked with excitement in her voice." *smirk* Ash? Why do you always ask these questions? We won't know till they get here" I say looking at my burger "Because I just want to see if you girls know." Ash says "I heard that ther will be 2 Werewolfs, a Vampire, and a Ghost." Mellody says looking at us "Thats only four people" I say looking confused "Ya I know. No one knows what the fifth student is" Mellody says in a bit of a sad tone "Don't worry Mellody. Maybe its a boy and he is a Mermaid." Ash says giving Mellody a hug "Ya. And maybe he will fall in love with you" I say giving her a smile "Thanks guys" Mellody says giving us a weak smile "Don't worry Mel. I all the other Vampire boy flirt with me but I won't fall for any one of them. I will be forever alone till I find my mate." I say and then drank all the blood "*laugh* Ya. Your right Nat, I will live forever so I shouldn't worry. I have time to find me true mate." Mellody says "Exsactly. And once when I find my true mate Kevin will not attack me and beg me to come back to him and I will protect my true mate." Ash says with a pride in her voice "You know that he won't leave you alone and he will try to make you his. So he will try to kill your mate." I say looking at Ash in the eyes with my fangs out and my red eyes showing "*sigh* I know. It might be hard for me to protect my mate." Ash says looking down "Its ok Ash. I will help you protect him. Remember, I am faster and stronger than Kevin and any Werewolf." I say giving her a smirk "Thanks Nat." Ash says having a smirk on her face too.
