TAPE #2: Cosmo LongLegs Study #2.
*It appears the following VHS tape is visual, meaning that you can see Cosmo and Dr. Berkley. Another Scientist is present, but can't be seen. *
*VHS Clicks in. The footage shows Cosmo sitting down with Dr. Berkley in front.*
Dr. Berkley: "Good afternoon, Cosmo."
Cosmo: "Hi Doctor!" *Cosmo is seen laughing.*
Scientist: "Someone's in a good mood today."
Dr. Berkley: "Cosmo, for the other doctors here, are you okay with me recording this?"
Cosmo: "Mhm!"
Dr. Berkley: "Okay good. Now, we wanted to check in and see how you are doing with spending time with Mommy and the children here. Starting with Mommy, how are things for you two?"
Cosmo: "Really, really good! Me and Mommy like to draw all the time. We also play hide and seek!"
Dr. Berkley: "Oh, hide and seek sounds fun! Where do you two usually play the game?"
Cosmo: "At the... Um... Game Station! Mommy says I'm super good at it."
Scientist: "Hm, do you two play hide and se-"
Cosmo: "Actually, Mommy taught me how to climb on the walls today!"
Scientist: "Oh... That's new. Did you manage to climb okay?"
Cosmo: *Cosmo nods* "Yeah. She said I need to main... What's the word?"
Dr. Berkley: "Maintain?"
Cosmo: "Maintain! She says I need to maintain my balance more first." *Cosmo swings his legs back and forth*
Dr. Berkley: "Very neat, Cosmo! It's good to hear that you two are getting along well. How are you doing with-"
Cosmo: "I have a question."
Dr. Berkley: "Hm?"
Cosmo: "Do you think my eyes can be as big as Mommy's?"
Dr. Berkley: "What do you mean?"
Cosmo: "When I was playing hide and seek with Mommy, I surprised her when she couldn't find me. When I did that, the black part of her eye got super big. After that, she told me that I scared her, but laughed and told me I was really good at hiding."
*Silence. Cosmo looks at both the Scientists, tilting his head.*
Scientist: *In a soft tone* "Annemarie, is she supposed to do that?" *Pages being flipped are heard*
Dr. Berkley: *In a soft tone back, looking at the Scientist.* "I'm... I'm not sure, Kate. We'll... Cosmo?"
Cosmo: "Huh?"
Dr. Berkley: *Dr. Berkley looks back at Cosmo* "Were her eyes still like this when you came down here?"
Cosmo: "The black part of her eyes? Oh. No, her eyes went back to normal."
Dr. Berkley: "Were there any other children with you while playing the game?"
Cosmo: "No, only me and Mommy."
Scientist: *Whisper* "Good..."
Dr. Berkley: "Back to what I was going to ask you... How are you doing with the children around?"
*Cosmo is seen not paying attention*
Dr. Berkley: "Cosmo, dear."
Cosmo: "Hm? Oh.. sorry. Playing with the kids is fun too! I made a new friend today!"
Dr. Berkley: "Oh? Who's your new friend?"
Cosmo: "Her name is Becky. Mommy tells me that she talks using Sign Language."
Scientist: "Oh, Mommy interprets for the girl all the time."
Cosmo: "She does?" *Cosmo looks at the Scientist*
Scientist: "Your mother is pretty good when it comes to communicating with you kids."
Dr. Berkley: "Do you and the children play games when Mommy isn't around?"
Cosmo: *Looking back at Dr. Berkley* "Mhm! We play tag, and skate when we are allowed to."
Dr. Berkley: "Well, it's also good to hear that you're getting along with the kids." *Pages being flipped are heard* "Do you have any questions before we let you go, Cosmo?"
Cosmo: "Hm... I don't think so."
Dr. Berkley: "Alright! You're free to go. Tell your mother that I said hello, okay?."
Cosmo: *Cosmo is seen smiling and laughing. He stands up* "I will!"
*Just before Cosmo walks out of view, the Scientist calls out to him.*
Scientist: "Ah, Cosmo!"
Cosmo: "Huh?"
Scientist: "Don't forget your inhaler."
*VHS Ends*
