~travis pov~🕊️

i looked in the cool clouds, it's pretty up here with the pink and blue skies. it's relaxing but kinda boring. i looked over my shoulder at the brunette from afar.

larry was always so boastful about his wings. he wasn't a jerk about them but when he flys well he rubs it in, he has a right to take pride in his wings though.

i thought they were beautiful, they practically made his features glow. i could sit and write about them for hours. i wonder what they feel like.

i shook the thought from my head and stopped glaring at him. i stretched my wings as they fluttered leaving behind feathers to fall on the ground beneath me.

heaven, a place in the clouds but yet you can feel the grass beneath your feet and see the flowers flourish in the wind. the air was clear and the wind was cooling. this is nirvana.

angels were in the wonderful field of flowers talking to each other dressed in white as they rested together in peace. a soft violin could be heard in the background from afar. i sat in a pile of soft fluffy moss.

suddenly i felt the grass beneath me sink as someone sat beside me, i turned my head to them i see the angelic brunette beside me with his painted cloudy eyes.

"what do you want?" i asked him a bit rudely but it was a genuine question.

"just wanted to say hi." larry said with a small stupid smile.

"hi, now leave." i went back to reading ignoring him.

it was a few moments of silence, i thought he went away by now until i heard that stupid annoying voice, "whatcha reading, travy?"

"none of your business." i tried to block his annoying voice out.

he tilted his head to look under my hands and looked at the cover of the book squinting his eyes to read it, "biography of insects.. hm, that's cool." he tried to make small talk.

i continued the read as he looks at the distant fields of flowers, "did you know male butterflies are actually more colorful then the females?" he said with his idiot smile.

"did you know that if you go away my afterlife would be easier?" i said back giving him a cold stare.

"yup, but i just want to torture you for fun." he sung and laid on his back with me and MY spot.

"seriously, how are you not in hell?" i scoff fluttered my wings and return to reading.

"i dunno, guess i'm special." larry spoke proudly of himself stretching his wings from below him.

"lost cause." i looked down at him slightly as he was laying on his back.

"fool." he looked up at me back with a playful smile.

"dumb." i say annoyed.

"dumber." he laughs.

"alcoholic." i rolled my eyes.

"ow travis, don't thou striken me with such words." he says dramatically with his hand on his heart.

"you're such an ass." i shoved him away playing with him.

"you're such a- uhhh..  -dumb dumb." he laughs shoving me back gently.

"you're insufferable." i roll my eyes at him with a slight smile.

"that i am." he smiled back.

he spent the rest of the time talking about random thing's seemingly going on forever and ever until he just laid there enjoying the breeze. it felt like we were friends. i hope he enjoyed that long talk with me like i did.

maybe we could be friends, maybe more.
