When you were gone, pt 1

AePete

When you were gone, my heart was aching. I could only think of you. My bed felt empty, my meals lonely, and reality was driving me insane. You left for two weeks, but it was really an eternity. Now that your back, my life is full of color again; I don't even have time to think about anything besides you! We missed each other so much, and now we can share those feelings in person. Let's last this lifetime and the next!

Pete woke up peacefully, his room was cool but the blankets kept him plenty cozy. Suddenly, he remembered the date.

"Ae comes back today!!"

He buried himself under the blankets and kicked his feet with excitement. He uncovered his face to take a breath, but he immediately covered it back up feeling the biggest grin tug on his lips.

Eventually, he took a deep breath and got up to shower, it would be a couple of hours before Ae came back from his beach trip, so Pete had to keep himself busy and distracted. He would be picking Ae up as well, because he had a car and - let's be honest- Pete wants to be capable sometimes as well. Dating his hero is amazing, but he never gets the chance to give back... Ae won't let him. Anyways, first things first he needed to take a shower.

"A calming shower so I can try to calm down..."

Pete said. However, as soon as he thought about calming down- he couldn't calm down. His mind was filled with thoughts of Ae again, and a smile along with a shade of pink spread across his face.

He entered the shower, and cleaned every surface and crevice his body had. He got out only because his finger were pruning so bad he thought it wouldn't bounce back by the time he met with Ae.

So he got out of the shower, did his hair and put on clean clothes. Upon doing so, he couldn't stop thinking about the night that him and Ae first did... that. When Ae complimented his shampoo (the one he will now use for the rest of his life), kissed him- then up and left... but in the end both Pete and Ae got what they wanted, and this thought just wouldn't leave Pete's mind!

Once he was done, he knew he had nothing else to do so he got into his car and drove to the station.

An hour early.

He also forgot his phone. Being apart from Ae made him lose him mind, but now being so close to seeing Ae again drove him more mad. He couldn't calm his thoughts or heartbeat that entire time. As the hot Thailand sun beat down on the people waiting outside, Pete hung in his car with the AC turned up. He really wanted Ae to be comfortable, so he didn't let his car get hot.

However, he himself may have gotten too comfortable as he fell asleep. He didn't exactly get much rest last night as he was to excited about meeting Ae. He felt like he hadn't even been on Earth these last few days.

Ae arrived back in Bangkok after having a trip to the beach with his friends to kick off their school break. However, among all the people at the station he didn't see Pete. He walked around a bit and that's when he saw the glistening white car in  the parking lot. Anyone could tell a koon-chai drove it. He approached the car quickly while fighting back too big of a smile, all while thinking that Pete would come out at any second to give him a hug, and maybe even a kiss.

But the closer Ae got to the car, the clearer he could see just what the driver was doing. He couldn't help but let out a little "awe" at how cute Pete was with his head tilted against the seatbelt with his mouth slightly open. Once he was at the car, he set down his bags towards the back and walked up to Pete's window. He bent over and knocked, watching as Pete's eyes slowly opened. He seemed to be in a daze for a few seconds, but became quickly animated when he saw who was at the car door. Ae stood up, backing away from the door while grinning and chuckling. Pete opened the car door excitedly, but when he tried to stand up he was quickly pulled back into the car by the seatbelt he forgot to undo. He looked back toward the seatbelt with an embarrassed expression, trying to undo it but his fidgety hands being unable to. Ae reached over Pete to place his hand on the one fumbling with the seatbelt. His body hovering over Pete made them both flustered, but Ae undid the seatbelt with ease. He then pulled back a bit, but hovered his lips over Pete's now red ears.

"I missed you" he said and turned his head to look into Pete's eyes. Pete had no idea what to do, his head was empty but his body felt like exploding from how much love he was feeling.

He suddentl wrapped his arms around Ae's shoulders and pulled him in for a hug. He rubbed their cheeks together, and Ae hugged Pete back with one hand, the other supporting him from falling onto him. Pete loosened the hug and so did Ae. No words had to be said, as Ae kissed Pete with all the passion and love in the universe. He played with Pete's hair as Pete gripped Ae's jaw. They were so immersed in it that they completely forgot to breathe, so they both released at the same time to catch their breath. Ae looked at Pete's lips, then met his eyes and realized he was the luckiest person in the world. His smile blossomed as his eyes grew smaller and his cheeks puffed out, but he was so happy to be back in the company with his boyfriend that he just hugged Pete again.

"I missed you too, Ae!!"
