I woke up and felt like there was a circus banging about in my skull. Oh wait that's actual banging. I slowly opened my eyes just to be blinded by the sun.
What the hell is that noise?
"Ella shut up" I jumped at the sound of Jess shouting beside me.
"Arrr it isn't me" I heard Ella grumble.
I slowly sat up and seen that I was in my bed, Jess and Ella beside me.
"Get up guys" I yawned eventually opening my eyes to the blinding light. Agh why didn't I close my curtains.
My door bursts open revelling my mother "oh good you guys are up" she chirped before going away again. Random.
"What time is it?" Jess yawned sitting up.
"Too fucking early" Ella shouted.
I rolled my eyes and got up from my bed stretching before I made my way down the stairs with my two best friends in tow.
"Um what's doing on?" I asked cautiously when I walked into the living room. I was expecting the usual clears to be here because of the party but instead there were loads of people with big boxes packing everything up.
"Oh there you are caddie. We have some excellent news" my mother beamed standing next to my father.
"What?" I asked slowly, really not wanting to hear what this news is.
"Well I have been offered a new job and we will be moving" my father smiled. I let out a breath of relief.
"OK where's the new house?" I asked, now excited, I hope it's closer to my friends.
"Scotland" my mother bounced up and down.
No.
Fucking.
Way.
"WHAT?" I shouted with wide eyes. no way did they just say that!
Thy both looked taken back by me shouting at them but I really couldn't care less.
"Scotland? As in Britain? As in the UK? As in thousands of miles from here?" I stressed, hoping to god that this was a sick joke.
"Yeah, isn't it great?" My mother is so stupid. Can't she see how pissed off I am right now?
"No it is not great! I don't want to leave America" I whined. I could feel tears well up in my eyes.
"Well tough go get ready, we are leaving in 2 hours" my mother said dismissing me with her hand then walked away to boss some people about. I looked at my father pleading him with my eyes but he just shook his head and walked away.
"No" I sobbed, letting my head fall and my shoulders sag.
"Oh my god caddie" Ella gasped beside me.
They both pulled me into a hug as I started sobbing.
"Caddie lee you are making a scene go up the stairs and cry while you dress" my mother hissed walking past.
Jess scoffed and pulled us all up to my room.
I Broke down once inside, my two best friends holding me while I cried.
"I don't want to leave" I whispered as more tears made there way into Ellas top.
"We know babe" Ella cooed, she was crying as well, Jess was at my other side with her arm around my waist.
2 hours later I was standing outside of my big now empty house saying goodbye to Ella and Jess.
"Don't forget us" Ella sobbed pulling me in for another hug.
"I won't I swear" I told them both honestly.
"Let us know if there's anyone hot" Jess said trying to lighten the mood but she had been crying too and Jess never cries.
"I will" I said letting out a watery laugh.
"Let's go caddie" my mother demanded from the car.
"I have to go" I said sadly, looking at my two friends and still hoping this would be a joke.
"Phone us when you get there" Jess said as I pulled them into another hug.
"I will. Bye guys" I whispered before getting into the car.
I waved at my friends as we pulled away from my home.
"You will love it there caddie, we got a big house like our one here" my mother smiled oblivious to the fact I am killing her in my mind.
"What? Isn't Britain full of fields and goats?" I hissed, glaring at her.
"Now now caddie you know better then to stereotype" my father scolded. I rolled my eyes at him but he was right I do know better. People always assume that because I have money I'm some spoiled little girl. Fair enough I am spoiled but I don't take it for granted, I learned on my own the value of a dollar. I also give money out of my own bank account to different charity's all over the world. I hate being called a spoiled little girl because I'm not!
and just as we pulled up at the airport i relised that this wasnt a joke, they were serious.
12 hours later I will tiered and grumpy. Unfortunately I forgot about the time difference so while everyone back home was all snuggled up in bed it was 7 o'clock in the bloody morning here! It was cold and wet and I hated it already.
Our house was already ready for us when we pulled up in the car. Our things I.e our furniture, cloths and cars where already here, my parents knew you needed a whole new licence for Britain because they drive on the other side of the road, so they ordered us some new ones and they should be here in a few days.
It wasn't as cold as it was near the airport, the houses were bigger than some of the ones we had past in the car. Like much bigger.
"Go see your new room" my father yawned as we stepped out of the car.
I shrugged and made my way into the house, some thing's were still being unpacked throughout the house but I ignored everyone until I found a big room that had all my things already set up inside. I didn't care about exploring. I just got out my phone and text jess and Ella to say I'm here and that the jet lag is probably going to kill me. They might not even get the texts but if they do I have just woken them up.
With a yawn I cuddled up with my teddies on my bed and fell asleep.
