Me and my best friend Kyle were walking down the street. This neighborhood is new so my mom said that we need start knowing the people around here. Or else their just gonna feel like...Strangers. Kyle is 9 and he has a wild imagination. But it's not like it's a bad thing. As we walk down the street, the sun starts setting. Kyle holds my arm tighter. I hear someone following us. I try whispering to Kyle, "Don't look behind you." He refuses and looks behind him. The person has a black hoodie on and has a gun in their hands. They shoot the gun and it hits Kyle in the leg. My eyes flash. I see someone. I see a kid. His arm got cut off...By a vine?...I was seeing it of some else's eyes. The person runs away and I look at Kyle in horror. I remember that there is a hospital near by. I run to the hospital with blood on my hands. Something else is following us. "What's wrong now?!" I yell. As I was entering the hospital, everyone froze. A vine strikes me in the chest. I pass out.
A few hours later, I woke up. In a hospital bed. I hold my chest as I walk to the door. The door is locked. Something must be blocking me from exiting. Vines crawl around the room. Acting like cameras. I'm dead meat. Suddenly, the vines grow dead. Kyle kicks open the door with the opposite foot that got hurt. He breathes hardly, trying to say something. "We need to get out of here...Now! Hurry up. Before...that thing wakes up." Says Kyle. "I think that thing might be the heart of all vines. We need to destroy it." I said. The eye of the creature opens. Vines reach for us. We run down the hallways and see the exit. Baby spiders chase us up on the walls. The lights flicker. The vines try locking the doors but we are free. But something drags me in. Kyle tries pulling me but the spiders bite him. His eyes suddenly close and when they open, they are bright white. He holds his hands up to to the vines and releases air dragons. The air dragons somehow kill the vines. The vine monster retreats and the doors of the hospital close. We immediately report this to the police.
We head to the police station and I see someone. I look at them. They look familiar. I saw them before...somewhere..
But that person turns around. I bump into her. "Sorry!" I said. "It's okay." Says Hollow. "Nice to meet you!" I said. "My name is Yumiko" "That's cool." Says Hollow. "My name is Hollow." Says Hollow. She looks away from me. I inspect her one last time. She has black hair, a black sweater, and some jeans. I walk toward the police station but she grabs my hand. I turn around. She has a serious face. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Things are wrong with this neighborhood. Something sinister leaks below us. And it's not hiding itself. I know what you saw in that hospital. It used to be a playful, pretty place...Until today. It was shut down. Why though? It makes no sense. THEY must know something's wrong...Right?" Says Hollow. "That hospital is dangerous. Have you ever went in there." I asked. "Yes I have. And...the hospital is just a trap. Each time people get hurt, they go to this hospital and never come back. Family members have been waiting but little do they know, their other family member is actually dead! Those doctors...They seem so innocent..." Hollow stops her sentence to look at me. She backs up. And starts running. "Hollow!" She says. A vine grabs my leg back into the hospital. Hollow continues to run. And kyle gets dragged in with me.
Darkness surrounds me. A voice comes closer. The lights turn on. I can hear two doctors talking. "The experiments have gone down by a lot. Are people starting to know?" The voices go silent. I hear a bang in the room. I run down the hallway, holding Kyles hand. I feel something rub against my shoulder. My skin starts getting sliced. I fall to the ground. "Are you okay?..." Asks Kyle. I stand back up. As I'm walking, pieces of glass shatter in front of me. I look around. "Hello? Kyle? Where are you?.." I said. I push over some of the glass and it leads me back to the hospital hallway. But a different hallway. I see a orb. It is surrounded by dark red energy. I try walking toward it but I fall into a infinite hollow hole. As I fall, the surface of the hole starts turning to glass. As I fall, more and more glass falls on me. Suddenly, glass slices my eye. I pass out as more glass pierces through my skin.
