I : The Beginning

My parents should be proud of me, I mean, I'm stuck here in my room listening to music and reading books while the kids of my age are getting high and wasted tonight.

"Why can't you go out like the others!" My mom exclaimed while I helped her do the dishes "What? Are you going to allow me to smoke and get wasted every Friday night?" I said "If that's the only thing that can make you go out then its fine with me" she joked and I laugh "Oh mom, that is the one thing my classmates want to hear from their moms" I said and she winked "Of course, I'm one in a million" she said and I laugh as I shrug my head.

After 2 years as we moved in Australia with my dad my life totally flipped upside down. I am the different, the weird one, the short one and some crazy ideal Asian stereotype but since I don't have the squinty eyes and the yellow skinned they keep on teasing me about it.

Asia is the largest continent so don't imagine all Asians have squinty eyes and good at school. I'm from the Philippines so I have large dark brown eyes, light tanned skin, wavy dark brown hair, petite body structure and a plump lips.

There are Filipinos on my school but they're the half ones and the light skin ones.

I have friends who is now having a good time in some house party someone threw tonight because its Friday night. I expect a call from them tomorrow making me help them through their hang over.

"Thank you Bella, you are a good friend" Bea said and I rolled my eyes "You two have owe me a lot" I said and thy laugh but groan "Do you think my mom will notice?" Hazelle said and I laugh "Your mom be like 'what did you do over Bea's house? You look horrible' because doing the sleepover excuse is so yesterday" I said and they laugh "No need to be bitchy about it. Are you still up for later?" Bea said and I nod "Ashton included pizza so I don't have any choice but to go" I said and thy laugh. "I get to see Mikeeey!" Bea said excitedly. Bea and Michael have this on and off relationship but at the end of the day they still crawling back together and end up making out on Ashton's sofa.

"You made it!" Ashton said giving me a hug and I laugh "Of course, you included pizza over the invitation and my mom said 'Tell Ashton thank you very much because he make you go out this week!'" I said mimicking  my moms voice and he laugh "Your mom is dying to kick you out huh" he said and I laugh and rolled my eyes "She hates me" I said sarcasticly

"Mikeeey!" Bea said running over and jump over Michael and they started eating each others faces "Wanna bet? How long they will be so cuddly and lovely until they start fighting?" Haze said and we laugh

"An hour" Ashton said

"30 minutes"Haze said

"Just give them a minute" I said and right in time we heard Bea "You didn't text me because you're in a freaking party or are you eating some girls face?" She said "I didn't do anything!" He said and they started arguing "Pay up bitches" I said and Ashton looked at me surprised as they lend me both a dollar.

While I stuff my mouth with pizza Ashton is teaching Haze how to play the drums, but everyone know that its just their excuse to be close to each other because there's this really thick sexual tension between those two.

Michael and Bea are already making out on Ashton's couch.

Reasons why I don't like going out with them.

I heard someone knock on the door and I yelled "I'll get it" I said and when I opened it I almost want to cry over gladness when I saw Luke standing on the door so I hugged him "Thank goodness you're here!" I said pushing him outside and his face shows confusion "Oh you don't want to see what is happening there!" I said and he laugh "And I be you're a minute away to call me?" He said "I was counting Lucas! 5 seconds away!" I said and he laugh "Wanna grab some Mcdonald?" He said and I smile widely and nod.

Luke is my very good friend since he was the first person who helped me get through the first week. He introduced me to Ashton, Michael, Bea and Hazelle and I couldn't make it without him.

"Wanna come tomorrow?" He said and I looked at him "Were going to the beach tomorrow, me, mom, Jack,Ben" he said and I scrunch my nose "Oh Isabella, don't you throw the Im-not-available excuse especially the my-mom-wouldnt-let-me-im-sorry excuse because your mom is dying to let some sun shine through your skin!" He said and I groan "You know I don't like going out!" I said and he rolled his eyes "Come on Bella, I don't want to be alone there!" He said "Its your family! Should it be a family bonding time?" I said "My mom is inviting you over! Jack and Ben also want to see you because its been a long time since they last saw you" he said

"I'm going to ask my mom about it" I said "Ah! No worries, my mom called her right after I went there and she is delightful to send you" he said and I face palm myself and he laugh "Your mom is dying to let you out" he said. "Oh last night she allowed me to smoke and be drunk" I said and he laugh "I wish your mom is my mom" he said and I laugh "So are you coming or not?" He said "I guess I don't have a choice" I said "And don't do the sick reason tomorrow okay?" He said and I laugh.
