I lay in bed, my hair wet, and my pig curled up against my side. I totally won that water balloon fight, I don't care what they say. That flash was weird though. It's not anything probably, maybe heat lightning or something, but doesn't lightning need clouds? It was almost like that time when Gideon summoned Bill. Wait, we defeated Bill back at the sock opera, we blew him up right? He's gone, why am I second guessing myself? You know what, I was probably just overheating. It was super hot out there and I hadn't gotten hit with a water balloon yet. Isn't hallucinating a side-effect of overheating? Eh, probably. It's all in my head, heh maybe I accidentally ate some smile-dip. Maybe I should tell Dipper just in case, like if it is bad it will be good for someone to know, but it won't be bad cause it's nothing.

I get up and walk downstairs, waddles shuffling close behind me. I walk into the living room and see Great uncle ford asleep on the couch. As I walk past he stirs a little. I stop and look down at him. Suddenly, he springs up screaming, I fall over and Waddles squeals, running away. He sits and puts his hand over his face. I get up and walk back over to him.

"Are you okay?" I ask, standing next to him in panic.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just I had a bad dream. You can go back to whatever you where doing." He leans back and closes his eyes tight.

"Are you sure? You're still seems pretty tense."

"I said I'm fine. Anyway, it would scare you. I always have bad... dreams." He looks at me pleadingly, as if he was begging for me not to ask again. I'm totally asking again and again and again until he answers. I'm not going to be afraid of some dream.

"Come on! Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, ple-"

"Fine. I don't want you to talk about it to anyone else though, okay?" I nod and he lets out a long sigh. "Okay, so we were all minding our business when all these weird flashes started happening. We all ran outside to see what was happening when we saw ghosts or demons or something swirling around in the sky above the house. As we ran outside it began raining so I ran in and grabbed a umbrella for us all, but when I came back out you were all covered in blood and the rain was blood too. The scariest part was it was just you left standing there, so grabbed you hand and led you to the car. We drove to somewhere, I don't remember it's all fuzzy, but when we got there it was dark and this yellow demon nam-"

I interject in the middle of his sentence, "Bill Cipher, right? Continue."

"You know him? We definitely have to talk about that... As I was saying he was there with his grubby little hands on my brother or me, I'm not sure, and your brother's shoulders. He was just laughing, I remember not being scared though just angry. Then you-..." He frowns and looks at me with displeasure, "I don't remember what happened after that."

I stand there in a sort of shocked and sort of awe emotion, not sure which I should be. "That's weird... I swore I saw a flash when we were fighting with water balloons. Did everything go all grey in your dream?"

He lets out a long sigh, "yeah, this isn't good. It's already happening. I need to find my brother." He gets up and runs to the lab, I tail behind him trying to hide from his view. I get in the elevator with him and he looks at me confused.

"I don't think you want to be apart of this chat."

"I don't, I'm getting something I left down there." I respond with a smile. Great, I've known him barely a day and I'm already lying to him. We reach the bottom floor and we get out, they go into the portal room and I send the elevator back up without me in it. I crawl to the entrance of the portal room and hide under the desk.

"She knows." I think Ford said that, it's weird how much they sound alike.

"About the thing?"

"Yeah, the flashes. You should have taken my advice that I wrote in the journal, you know? Could destroy the universe?" There's a thud following his statement.

"Hey! It's not my fault! Well it is, but they saw it too. They could have stopped me! Did you really want to stay in there forever?" Grunkle Stan is starting to raise his voice to yell, as well as Ford.

"It would have been better then putting everyone in danger! Is 1 for 7 billion a fair trade off? No, didn't think so."

They come back through into the lab and Grunkle Stan sits down in the chair directly in front of me. His legs are centimeters from me. I'm trying really hard not to breath on him or something.

"Okay, fine. I made a mistake, but how many have you made? A lot more then I have."

"Don't you dare bring that up! I didn't ask for that to happen to me!"

"It happened to the one of them too, you know? I heard it second hand from the girl, but from what I heard he's got big plans ahead that he can't accomplish by himself."

Oh no... Please n- "ACHOOO."

Grunkle Stan jumps from his seat and ford falls against of the machines.

"Mabel?! How long were you down there for? How much did you hear?"

"Nothing Grunkle Stan! I swear I was listening! I dropped my..." I get up and nervously look under the desk. "Uh, pen! Yeah I dropped this pen here. I was just about to leave." I get up and run to the elevator, it creaks open and reveals Dipper.

"There you are Mabel!" He sees the panicked look on my face and the angry looks the older Pines twins was giving me. He pulls me in and hits the up button. "You have a lot of explaining to do."
