Jaemin woke up because of the sunlight on his face. He groaned and turned on his side to look at his phone and check the time. He only had a few minutes left before his alarm would start ringing. He moved his body against the fresh and soft bed sheets. It was still cool outside as it was early in the morning.

Jaemin had only slept a few hours. It was a torture to know that he had to get out of bed soon. He stretched and sat on his bed, his eyes half opened. He yawned and took a look at himself in the mirror. His hair was a mess.

The businessman took his phone, turned off the alarms and checked his notifications as he walked to the bathroom to take a shower. He was intrigued when he saw that his assistant had tried to call him a few minutes ago. He pressed on the notification to know why the other had tried to reach out to him and brought the phone to his face.

"Renjun?" he asked, a little worried.

"Oh Sir! I tried to call you, did you see?"

"Yes I did, is everything alright?"

"Yes, I mean no... I won't be able to make it today, my mother fell in the stairs during the night, she broke her leg pretty badly."

"Is she okay?"

"She's fine but I need to take care of her for a few days. I am deeply sorry sir, I apologize. I will try my best to help you, it will be difficult as you are leaving today."

"It's okay Renjun, please take care of your mother, call Shi-Yeon, she will come as my assistant instead of you."

"Will do sir."

Jaemin hung up and sighted. He liked Renjun's mother a lot, she was a caring person, she often made snacks for both of them. Renjun had been his assistant since he came into the company. The latter was organized and efficient, both of them spent a lot of time together. If they didn't have such a work related relationship, Jaemin would have been friends with him but he didn't want to risk anything unprofessional.

Jaemin put his phone down and took a shower. He tried to be quick since he had to hurry not to be late. The latter put some comfortable yet still classy clothes on. He styled his hair and grabbed his luggages. When he opened the front door he was surprised to see Shi-yeon already waiting for him with an eight shot iced americano.

"You were fast." he commented as he walked to the woman.

"I had Renjun on the phone before you did." she explained, giving him the americano.

"That man has superpowers I swear." whispered Jaemin.

"He is my role model." added Shi-yeon.

Jaemin laughed a bit before he installed himself in the car.

"Let's go." his new assistant said, starting the engine.

Jaemin took the opportunity to sleep in the car, waiting for his flight at the airport and during the flight. He was so exhausted from the past few weeks. The business man thought about taking a few days off. His last vacation dated back from when he was waiting for his graduation results. He badly needed some fresh air, a place where he wouldn't be bothered by anyone. That would be paradise on Earth.

Jaemin was woken up by the plane slowly starting to fly down to land. He looked at his window and watched the sea and clouds from above. He always found it a little stressful to know that they were flying above nothing but water for hundreds and hundreds of kilometers. He continued to watch the endless white and blue scenery as he got lost in his thoughts. Jaemin never really visited South-East Asian countries. He promised himself he would go there to enjoy their countries and cultures at least once in his life. The businessman for several minutes before he started to see minor islands announcing a bigger one where the plane would land. He watched the dense vegetation and thought about his mother land. Seoul didn't have enough trees to his liking, however, he still enjoyed living in the capital.
