When the doors flung open, Lily looked inside with disbelief. She couldn't trust her eyes when they spotted what she saw infront of her. The King of Darkness stood in the middle of the room.

But the room was different to all the others. It wasn't dark like the whole castle. It was bright, every wall was white and gold with beautiful creations and sculptures all around. The King looked right into her eyes.

"I have been waiting for you, Lily. I'm glad my son finally brought you here." Lily's eyes widened as he said these words. She looked to her right, where Devian was standing. He looked nothing like he did before.

His clothes were clean and he was wearing a Royal gown all in black. His hair was deep black now and seemed to absorb every light in the room. His wounds were all gone, only the scar next to his eyes stayed.

"I'm sorry Lily, but he took my little brother." Devian grinned and when she heard his voice she was in disbelief. It was the same voice that spoke when someone put on the collar that stopped her from using her powers.

"No. Thats not true." she whispered, still in disbelief and feeling betrayed like she never did before. "Oh yes it is true. I played this role well, didn't I? Years of training finally paid of." Devian grinned again, now showing his sharp theeth Lily had never noticed.

He didn't look as thin anymore and the only thing Lily could think of right now that she had to flee. She had to run as fast as she could to get away from here. So she turned around and ran. As fast as her feet allowed her to, back into the dark room.

She ran and ran. But somehow the dark room never seemed to end. She used her powers but no matter how bright she made it, she could only see a few steps ahead of her. And when she slowed down, scared to death and turned around, the Kings chamber was still right behind her.

Devian standing there, smiling at her with his Father behind him. "Come back here, you won't escape I promise." Devian spoke again and Lily shivered. "No, no I won't. I will escape." She turned around again to use her powers even more but the moment she raised her arms, two cold hand grabbed her shoulders.

"Don't even try to do this, please." Devian stood right behind her grabbing her so she couldn't move and shadows flowed from his hands over her arms onto her hands to stop her from doing anything. "Why?" she cried silently.

As Lily stood there, trapped and helpless, the King of Darkness approached her with a cold, sinister smile. His voice dripped with malice as he spoke.

"Why? Because you are the Light Warrior, the one destined to bring an end to my reign. You possess a power that threatens everything I have built. And now, my dear, you will serve a greater purpose in the darkness."

Lily's heart sank as she realized the depth of the deception she had fallen into. Devian, the boy she had come to trust, was nothing more than a pawn in his father's wicked game. Her emotions shifted from disbelief to anger and determination. She refused to let herself be defeated.

With a burst of defiance, Lily summoned every ounce of strength she had left. She struggled against Devian's grip, her hands pulsating with a surge of light. Though the shadows tried to suppress her, she fought back with all her might, refusing to let the darkness consume her.

In a final surge of power, Lily broke free from Devian's hold, causing him to stumble back. The room filled with a radiant glow as she unleashed her true potential. The light was blinding, engulfing everything in its path, including the King of Darkness himself.

In the chaos, Lily seized the opportunity to escape. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, using her remaining energy to navigate the labyrinthine corridors. The castle seemed to twist and turn, trying to confound her, but her determination remained unyielding.

As she neared the exit, she could hear the echoes of pursuit behind her. Guards and creatures of darkness were giving chase, their footsteps pounding ominously. Lily pushed herself even harder, fueled by the desire to survive and bring an end to the tyrannical rule.

Just as she reached the final obstacle, the third and most heavily guarded wall, Lily found a hidden passage. It was an unexpected stroke of luck that gave her a slim chance of escaping the clutches of the castle.

She darted through the passage, her breath ragged, until she emerged outside the castle walls. The world outside was a stark contrast to the darkness she had left behind. The sun bathed everything in warm light, filling Lily with a sense of renewed hope.

Knowing that her mission was far from over, Lily took a moment to catch her breath and gather her thoughts. She had to find a way to rescue Devian's little brother and put an end to the King of Darkness once and for all. The path ahead would be treacherous and filled with uncertainty, but Lily was resolved to face whatever challenges lay in wait.

With a determined spirit and a flicker of light still burning within her, Lily set forth on her next chapter, ready to confront the darkness head-on and reclaim the destiny that had been stolen from her.
