A messy divorce where two children are separated. Amelia looked as she was sitting at home with her little brother while they were trying to distract themselves. Amelia looked at her nine-year-old brother while she heard the voices of her parents.

I don't believe you, Liam! How could you?!

Rosalie, would you please just calm down? The children can hear you.

Liam Barrett and Rosalie Wilson. They were the young couple who could achieve anything. They had gotten married when Liam was 25 and Rosalie was 20, and 2 years after that their beautiful baby girl Amelia Rose Barrett was born. And six years later their son, Gabriel Michael Barrett, was born. Their family was complete and nothing could change any of that. Until one April morning when Amelia was 15 years old, when the truth came out that Liam was having an affair with one of his college students.

"Will I ever see you again?" Gabriel asked as Amelia looked at her brother.

Maybe it's a good thing that the court are separating the kids.

Amelia looked at the door when her mother spoke those words. Amelia and Rosalie have always been relatively close and although she knew that their relationship would still be strong, she didn't expect those words to leave her mother's mouth.

"Rose, how can you even say that? Separating Amelia and Gabriel is not the answer," Liam said.

"I think it could be good for me and Gabriel to spend some time away from America. This time in Iceland will do us good. I'll say when I am ready for Amelia to visit, if you're even going to allow her."

"Rosalie. You're her mother taking her brother to Europe. Stay in Woodendale. We can figure something out," Liam said.

"I don't want to be in the same town as you. And I'm not leaving all my kids behind. Amelia can stay with you and then Gabe can come and live with me. It will help all of us. And jy decision is final," Rosalie said.

"Mom?" Amelia said, as Rosalie turned around, finding her daughter in tears.

"I'm sorry, Amelia. This is the only solution. Let me go and find my son," Rosalie said.

"I'm so sorry, Baby," Liam said as Amelia ran into his arms crying.

"It's oaky, darling, it's okay. I got you," Liam said brushing over his daughter's hair.

Hearing as his daughter was sobbing, it broke Liam's heart to know that his sweet girl would now have to go through this all. Alone and scared. He exhaled, holding his daughter tight, and laid his head on her chin.

"It's gonna be okay, Amelia. I'll make sure of it, I promise," Liam said.
