After the new job "meeting", I was dropped off at my apartment to grab my stuff. And write a note telling people where I am.

Hey Lins,

New job. I don't know when I will be back. I'll be paying for the rent, so don't worry.

(P.S. Tell my mum too.)

It was now two o'clock in the morning, so it made sense. After that, I don't know where they took me. All I know is it took forever and it was pretty awkward being in a plane with ninja people.

"Alright. We've arrived." Kevin announced to Jack and me. "Hope you two are ready."

Neither of us had spoken a word once we got on the plane. That had no windows. It was very boring. "Don't think we would have agreed if we weren't." I said seriously. I glanced at Jack, who was refusing to look at me ever since the meeting. Guess I kicked him pretty hard. Not that I minded. I stood up and followed Kevin out the door to see something astounding...

Most people think that secret spy training places are in basements or jungles or possibly in a volcano. Not this one. We were standing in front of ten cabins that formed a circle, with one big tower in the middle. Sounds normal, except each building was built out of this alien material. It seemed to be trees that literally grew into cabins, then turned to stone. "What the hell..." Jack said quietly. "It looks like magic growing stone tree cabins..."

With this, I stopped gawking, scoffed, and heading towards Kevin. Who was waiting for us at the tower thing.

"So... What's the agenda, Agent Smith?"

~Fast Forward three months~

I shoved my shoulder into the cabin door, then practically fell inside. I unlaced my combat boots, and headed to my room. Since Jack and I were partners, we shared a cabin. Yay me. With a flop, I fell face first onto my bed. Yeah, not moving sounded pretty good. Then I heard a thud as Jack ran into the cabin door. "Ah, chocolate chips that hurt!" I heard him say before he opened the door and walked in. "Stupid test... stupid training... and stupid partner beat me again..."

"I can hear you, Jackasstiel!" I yelled, my voice muffled by my pillow. I heard a quiet "Shit" from the other room and chuckled. Suddenly, there was a loud thump from the kitchen that made me dash to the investigate. What I found was a dazed looking Jack sprawled on the floor. Plus papers were falling like confetti.

"Putting ice packs on sores works better than causing new ones." I said, leaning on the door frame.

"You know what..."

"Go study. I'm cooking tonight, anyways."

"Thanks Lynn." He said sincerely. He's taken to calling me by my middle name for some reason. It's kinda nice. I think maybe I could get used to living with this clutz...
