Miala's POV

I pulled the line signaling to the driver that I wanted to come off the bus. After getting off the bus I walked the two blocks til I stood in front of a two story brick house.  Well here goes nothing. I walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell.

    A woman with grey hair in a bun opened the door. Hello she  said. Um hi my name is Miala I'm looking for Daniella. Yes uh come in I'll call her for you. I entered their house and was escorted to the living room.

       Just wait right here she said. Ok thank you I said. Dani someone's here to see you she said. A girl came running down the stairs. She wore purple socks and a yellow dress and her hair was in a messy bun.

   Uh hi she said. Yes um hi I'm here to talk to you about a person that you and I both know. Uh who she said. Um his name is Prodigy. She gasped and tears came to her eyes. Come she said pulling me to her room.

     After locking the door she turned to me. How is he? Is he ok? She gripped my hands tightly. Uh if you'd let go of my hands I could tell you I said. Oh sorry she said pulling away. Uh well he's uh he's put together I said.

     What do you mean she said? Well he's quiet and he keeps to himself. He's changed she said. He hasn't been like that in years. Oh my gosh she said. She sat back in the bed and stared at the ceiling. What do you mean I asked?

     When I first met Prodigy he was just like this but he laughed and smiled. He was just a person in the shadows. He watched everything but never brought attention to himself.

She looked at me and then went into la la land. We met on a rainy day in September. Winter was soon approaching and the cold weather was already here. I had just finished my shift and was walking home.

   Prodigy was going somewhere. But I got drenched in water when a car pulled up by me. You know when cars go to fast in the water by the sidewalk and the water goes woosh? Yeah like that.

   I was so pissed. I ended up cursing out the driver and stoning his car with my juice. Prodigy was the one that ended up saving my ass from getting beat by the driver. After that he walked me home.

   Awe I said. She laughed. Even though he did that, the next day of school he acted like nothing happened and we hadn't met. It was so bizarre.

Later on we had a project to do and that's what brought us closer together. Then finally he had the guts to ask me out to prom and that same day I became his girlfriend. Awe that's sweet I said. Yeah. He was the best boyfriend she said.

   So if you don't mind me asking what happened? She blinked back tears. I had a miscarriage of our firstborn child she said. Oh I'm so sorry I said giving her a hug. Its ok I'm finally better now. Had to go to therapy and all that ish but I'm good now.

   That's good. Yeah my mom was there and Prodigy tried she said sadly. Yeah. He has a picture of you I said. I think like a lot but I've only seen one and I haven't seen it clearly either. Oh she said. That's why I'm kinda here.

   I was wondering if you would be willing to come to dinner tomorrow. Yeah sure she said. I haven't seen Prod in years. What would I say to him? Oh My Gosh how would he react to seeing me? I guess you'll have to find out I said. Thanks for coming here she said. Anytime I said. You said your name is Miala right? Yeah I said. Whats your number? I'll call you I said.

  After exchanging numbers I said my goodbyes and went back to the MB house. Mission accomplished. I thought it would have been much more harder but I guess this had been needed for a long time. They were just to scared to go to one another. They just needed a little push and that's what I did. Hopefully it didn't back fire in my face.
