Daniella POV
Wazzup maannnn I said texting Prodigy. He instantly texted back and I smiled. Ever since Miala got us back together, it was like we had never drifted apart. Prod was still goofy, and serious but loveable. I could already feel old feelings starting to arise. I knew they were still famous and still going strong so I didn't want to rush into anything. I just wanted us to be friends.
Danie my mom yelled! Yeah I hollered back! Come here you gotta visitor she said happily. Who was coming to visit me? Last time that happened I met Miala my lil homie and me and Prod got reacquainted. So who was this? I headed downstairs and was met with a grinning Prodigy. What are you doing here I said with my hand on my hip? I was in the neighborhood he smiled. And who do you know in this neighborhood besides me? Your mother he replied smoothly. I laughed. I'll be ready in fifteen minutes I said. I ran up the stairs and went to my closet. I quickly got dressed and headed back downstairs.
Bye mommy I said kissing her cheek. I'll see you later. She gave us a wave and I got in the car with Prodigy.
So where we goin I asked? I don't even know I just want us to chill today. Alright I said. We drove for hours just talking to one another and listening to music. Driving just to enjoy each others company and explore the scenery. "Daniella", I turned my head to Prodigy to see what was up.
Yes? I know we just got reacquainted but I wanna know if you can tell me what happened that night. I took a deep breath. It has always been a pain to remember that night but I guess he did have the right to know. Even after all these years of not knowing. I guess it was time. Drive to the beach I said.
He looked at me weirdly but did what I asked. We sat in the parking lot for a few minutes before I decided I was ready to spill everything.
