Arriving at Fairy Hills

Juvia explained the situation to Erza and how she was trying to thank him and surprisingly enough Erza let him in.

Juvia was almost sure they would have to sneak in. Mainly because
1. He was a male.
2. He wasn't from Fairy Tail
3. He was the enemy at one point!

"Rogue-sama it won't take long at all. So please sit here and relax while Juvia cooks your food. Juvia has a couple of Sorcerer's Weekly magazines, Rogue-kun can look at them.. One of them features Rogue-Kun and Sting-kun.....shirtless."

He blushed as she smiled and walked away. Rogue proceeded to sit on the white sofa.

He quickly got bored and made his way the kitchen .

What is she wearing ?! O.o

He saw that Juvia was wearing an apron with a hen's face on it and quickly noticed another apron hanging on a hook next to the refrigerator.

He grabbed the apron realizing it had a Rooster's face on it.

Does she have a thing for birds that can barely fly???

He put it on and made his way to Juvia who still hadn't noticed him when he suddenly spoke up

"Can I help?"

"R-Rogue-kun scared me!"

She looked down at the apron and blushed madly.

"T-t-thats Gray-sama's a-apron..."

"Oh I don't think he'll mind if I wear it for a bit. But if you mind then I'll take it off."

"N-no. It suits Rogue-sama." She smiled.

"Really? A rooster apron suits me? Well Juvia Lockser of Fairy Tail it sounds like you're trying to bash me but I'll take it as a compliment seeing as you're wearing a HEN apron." He chuckled.

That was the first time she had seen him laugh and it made her feel warm inside knowing that SHE was the reason for his smile.

She was now forming the little spam musubis so she told him how to do it and they began putting them together when he noticed that Juvia was crying.

"Does Rogue-kun know why that apron is there?"

"Well you said it belonged to your boyfriend Gray."

She chuckled.

"Juvia's boyfriend? Juvia's boyfriend.... That has a nice ring to it doesn't it. But Gray-sama isn't Juvia's boyfriend. Actually Juvia hasn't had a boyfriend in about 9 years, that's including her 7 year absence...."

9 years yet she's still 2 years younger than me now.

"Back to the question! Juvia has had that apron there since she moved in to Fairy Hills nearly 8 and a half years ago... Hoping that her love would reach her Gray-sama and one day they would cook together. A Hen and a Rooster.... Boyfriend and girlfriend. Wife and Husband.... It should never take someone 8 and a half years for someone to fall in love with another. I know I didn't experience the 7 years but everyone else did! To everyone it's been 8 and a half years and nothing. I get pity looks from the other guild members every single day. "

Rogue took in every word.

"Juvia fell in love with him instantly. Sure, Juvia knows not everyone experiences that but.... Seeing Rogue-kun in that apron made Juvia realize that she's waiting for something that might never come. She can't put her life on hold for Gray-sama to realize that he loves her. Bisca and Alzack have a beautiful daughter now! When Juvia left for Tenrou island they hadn't even confessed to eachother. But now they have a daughter. Yes, Juvia knows they had 7 years to do all that but still! Juvia confessed multiple times and got nothing but rejection!!! Juvia wants to marry too! Have children too! I guess the rejections never fully sunk into Juvia's head till now looking at the apron.
