MY BIGGEST MISTAKE

Friday the day of free practice, max didn't had to be in the paddock at the same time as Y/N, but he still insisted to drive her "you really didn't have to come here early for me" she speaks while getting out of the car

"I know, but I also have a few things to do" he smiles

"Thanks anyways" she speak, while walking towards her office. She keeps on working for a while until she hears a ringing coming out of her bag, when she looks at it she realizes that she still has Max's phone in it. "Shit I forgot to give it to him when we got out of the car" she speaks to herself "and I'm talking to myself again. Great, now I'm also loosing my mind".
She thinks about bringing it to him, but decides to wait until her break. When she's about to leave her office, Max phone rings again, for about the hundreds time now.

How can someone be so annoying she thinks to herself. Should she look who's calling him ? Or would that be inappropriate?

She decides to take a small glance at his phone screen and sees Kelly's name pop up. Why is she calling him and why not only once but probably 6 times ?
Her mood is as bad as it hasn't been for a long time. But when shes about to enter the garage, she sees someone standing inside the paddock, that she didn't expected to see.

"What are you doing her?" She asks the person, which is now standing in front of her.

"That's not a nice way to greet your big sister" her sister replies with a smile on her lip, that makes Y/N wanna punch her in the face.

"Funny" she breaths out annoyed "but I'm asking again, what are you doing here, Jess?"

"I heard you're head over heels with dad again and he told me you would be here this weekend. So I wanted to check if you've finally grown up"

"Well I don't have time for this I have to work" Y/N replies, trying to get away from this awful person that she is sadly related to. Jess always has been like their mother, maybe even worse.

"Oh right, you call this" Jess points around in the paddock "work" she laughs out.

"I'm going to leave" Y/N replies

"Wait. I'm also here to check if you're coming to my wedding, you know we send you an invitation but you didn't answer" Jess speaks in an arrogant tone.

"I didn't had time to, I have been working all the time" Y/N replies "but yes I'm coming" she honestly didn't want to attend this awful wedding, but she knows how much her dad wants her to go.

"I'm sure you will come alone, right? Because we really have to plan everything, there are going to come sooooo many people, even a few celebrities" Jess explains.

"I don't know if I'm coming alone yet. I'm- oh excuse me for a few seconds" she interrupts her own sentence "Max!" She yells towards the driver, who immediately turns around and begins to smile at his girlfriend.

"Yes, Mrs. Superstar?" He asks, walking towards them

"I'm here to give you your phone, you left it in my bag earlier. And secondly don't call me that, it's awful enough Daniel uses that nick name" she groans

"Oh shit, I have been searching for that thing the whole morning" Max laughs out "thanks" max finally notices the second women standing next to Y/N, he gives his girlfriend a questionable look. Y/N groans again, knowing she has to introduce her to him.

"Max this is my sister, Jess. Jess this is max-" she starts to say

"Max Verstappen. I know who you are" she smiles at him.

"Oh..." max replies "hello I guess"

"Hi, like you already know I'm Jess" she smiles at Max with a smile, that again creates the urge inside Y/N to punch her right into her face. God, she thinks to herself. "If every driver here looks as good as you, I'm definitely going to stay longer" she tells him, giving him her flirty eyes. And again Y/N is just seconds away from punching her.

"Jess!" Y/N warns her

"What ? Can't I be nice to him?" She knows her sister and she knows her being 'nice' is actually her being a total bitch.

She also said that she was just being nice to Y/N ex-boyfriend and now she's engaged to him so Jess being nice is not something good.

"No not to my boyfriend" she snaps at Jess. Y/N can't believe this. Her sister hasn't changed on single bit. At least she's hear without her awful fiancé.
"Honey, I just talked to my father on the phone. He said that- Oh" a male voice speaks. Now Y/N has to realize, that she celebrated his absence to early, because there he is. Mr. Nathaniel Miller. Her sisters fiancé and Y/N ex boyfriend.

"Hello Nathaniel" Y/N speaks annoyed

"Oh hello there" he speaks back, then his eyes go up and down her body. Causing Max to take a step closer to her. Nathaniel's eyes rush over to max and grow wide. "Who's that?" He asks her

"I'm Max. The boyfriend" he replies

"Oh you're boyfriend, well I guess then you're not coming alone to our wedding" he replies still not looking away from max.

"No she is not coming alone" Max replies, the two seem to fight a battle by holding eye contact.

"Anyways... I think Max has to return to work and so do I. The whole crew probably waits for me" Y/N speaks, trying to safe her and max from these two horrible persons.

"Don't bother about us, where staying the whole weekend" Nathaniel speaks towards Max

"We are ?" Jess asks annoyed

"Yes" Nathaniel smiles towards Y/N, who roles her eyes. She turns towards Max, tells him goodbye and walks away. Not only did she want to escape, but she really has a video to shoot. She walks towards the Studio and starts shooting a video with the Mercedes drivers.
