Finney POV:
I was walking to my baseball game because my dad decided he wasn't in the mood to take me.
While I was walking I saw a group of girls.
They were all very gorgeous, but one stood out to me specifically.
Donna Mullen, Y/N L/N, Amy Yamada, Amanda Campbell, Christine Settles, and Andrea Smith.
Out of all those girls, Y/N caught my eye.
She was so gorgeous.
I immediately took my mind off of her and ran to the baseball field.
Once I got there I was out of breathe.
I sat at the bench, which was fenced in, for about 5 minutes until I heard my name being called.
I looked around and saw Y/N standing at the railing of the fence.
She saw me look over at her and motioned her fingers in a way to told me that I need to go up to her.
I walked up to her and smiled warmly.
"Hi..!" I said, trying to hold eye contact.
"Hey finn! I'm Y/N, Donna's friend!" She replied, "I was wondering...Are you busy after the game?"
"Nope, why? What's up?" I asked.
My attempt at holding eye contact was very successful.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the park with me.. Maybe..look at the stars?" She let out, a nervous look appearing on her face.
"Oh! Uhm... Sorry, didn't expect YOU to ask ME that question!" I chuckled.
She giggled in response.
"But..uh...yea! I would love to, sounds fun!!" I exclaim.
Her face turned a light pink.
"Alright! I'll see you at 10??" She stutters.
"Not if I can win the game before that!" I smile.
She smiles and waves, then walks away.
