It's Not Such A Cup of CoCo

Chapter 4

Noah dropped Cody off at his house. It was now 7:00am. There was another car parked outside of the house. Cody immediately thought the worst. He ran inside quickly.

He heard talking in his room so he ran upstairs to find Courtney being fitted for a dress. By Brick. Cody quickly caught his breath back.

"Hey cutie! Brick was fitting me for my wedding dress. Do you know the theme yet?" Courtney asked. "Yeah. Italian. I wanted to recreate the dress you wore the night we visited the Colosseum. That one was my favorite." Cody explained.

"Oh god Cody. You are too sweet. You still remember that?" Courtney asked smiling. "I never forgot it." Cody comfirmed. "Ok Brick. Come back tomorrow. I'll have a picture of the dress for you." Courtney explained.

"Cya then!" Brick said saluting Cody and Courtney walking out the door. "Brick does fashion?" Cody asked. "Apparently he went to fashion school." Courtney replied.

"Speaking if the wedding, we need people to attend." Cody added. "I'm thinking five friends and a best lady and best man. Then everyone else!" Courtney exclaimed. "F-F-Five..." Cody stampered.

Cody really only had one true. friend. And that was Noah. So either he could let down Courtney, or become best friends with four other people by the time the wedding came up. And he wasn't taking the first option.

"Yeah, five! Is that okay?" Courtney asked. "Yeah, yeah... yeah." Cody said looking down at the ground. "Okay then!" Courtney said.

Courtney never had her guard up around Cody. Only in public. So Cody was able say things that would of been questionable to anyone in public, to Courtney.

Cody quickly ran outside and called Noah. "Hey. What do you want?" Noah asked over the phone. "I need four groomsmen." Cody quickly said over the phone. "Come over to my house at 12:00. I have an idea." Noah said and hung up.
