You were lying on your bed having the most agonisingly boring day of your life, when you get a text from your best friend, Luke Hemmings. Yes, that Luke Hemmings. Your face brightened when you saw your screen light up. Truth be told you had the biggest crush on him but you didn't wanna tell him considering he may not like you back therefore ruining the friendship.

Seeing the last text he sent you broke you heart into a million pieces. You were certain he didn't feel the same way, after all he never showed any signs and he has a girlfriend, Aileen. Yay!!-_-. And although you had never actually met her...you hated her guts.

You walked up the the brick stairs leading to his door. You walked inside (he gave you a key dont worry you didnt break in) his beautiful home only to find him sitting on the couch crying. You rush over to him. "Omg. Whats wrong?" You asked. The only answer you recived was the sound of sobs. "I wont be able to help until you tell me whats going on."
"You can't do anything,(y/n). Aileen b-broke up w-with me." Luke managed to say in between sobs.
' how could she do that to him. Does she not realize that she has just let go the most amazing guy in the world? I mean while she was all over him i was in the corner hoping that he knows how lucky she is. I'd give anything for a chance with him.' You think to yourself.
"Well ummm if its any help, i think shes insane for letting you go. And if she doesnt realize what an amazing guy you are the she sure as hell doesnt deserve you. You deserve someone better, someone who will stick with ypu through the tough times and never let you go." You look up at him hoping to see his beautiful smile.
"(Y/n)..." He starts to lean in.
