Chapter one

Y/N POV

It was two days ago since this nightmare started.

I've would have never thought that I would get involved with Bonten, but here I am.

It all started on the my way home. It was already past midnight when it happened. I was clubbing with my friends so my mind wasn't very clear, but luckily I wasn't too drunk or I might have done things that I would regret later.

When I made my way home, I took a small shortcut in a small street that was leading in between two buildings, so normally you can't see anything from the main street.

Before taking that way, I got to hear really loud noises that kinda sounded like gunshots to me. I didn't worry about it and just continued my way, which definitely was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.

When I realized what I just saw, I froze and didn't dare to move a single bit.

A man who's shooting at someone multiple times with the biggest smile on his face I've ever seen. I wish I've never seen this, but there's no going back now.

When he noticed me, he stepped over the person he just shot and whispered in my ear.

,,I know what you're thinking, if you just shut your mouth like a good little girl, nothing will happen, but if you don't, you might end up like this too... And we don't want that right~"

I immediately backed up as he moved towards me, but he grabbed my hair and pulled me to him again.

,,Did you understand that"

His psychopathic smile, turned into a serious face that stared me into my eyes.
I didn't know what to do, so I just slowly nodded.

,,Now that's what I call a good girl"

A smirk was put on as he said that.

He turned around and started to try to wipe all the blood that was sticking to him and his clothes of.

As he walked past me, he suddenly stopped next to me.

,, I'm gonna remember you, don't forget that"

I shivered as he told me this and I really hope that I won't ever meet him again and this was all just a dream...

...

I was still staring at the corpse that she just left behind without any worries. I backed up and turned around just to see that this guy disappeared, so I had no other choice than just getting away from here.

My heart was beating fast as I got home, remembering what I've just seen.

My whole mind was a mess and I tried to stay calm, which didn't really work out.

I wanted to forget about it...
I wanted him to forget about it...

I stayed up all night due to overthinking of what will happen after what I've witnessed.

All night, I've tried to sleep and hope that all this was just a weird dream, but I needed to accept the truth, that this was all true and really happened.

...

Just because of what happened, I tried to not let it change my life and to just forget about it.

Even though I didn't sleep at all, I made my way to work.

I was currently working at a small cafe in the center of Tokyo.
It wasn't that popular but there's always still a decent amount of customers.

My shift was always from 4pm to 19pm, so almost everytime when I finished my work, the sun is already set.

Till now, this never really was a problem.

After the last customer left, I cleaned everything up and immediately left.

When I went outside, the first thing I noticed, was another car parking next to mine.
I exactly knew that all my colleagues and the customers already left, so I was wondering, who's car that was.

But I didn't cared too much, since I just went outside without any other questions.

Although I thought that no one was there, when I looked around the corner, I still saw a guy that somehow seemed pretty similar to someone I met before.
He was wearing a mask, so I couldn't recognize him at first, but when I noticed who it was, he was already standing in front of me.

It was the guy from Yesterday,
the one that killed someone right in front of me.

I backed up a bit, just to feel the wall behind me.

I tried to act normal, as I didn't know him or something like that.

I really don't want to get involved with someone like this and just as I almost forgot of what happened, he showed up again.

,,Uhm... Is there anything you want sir?"

I didn't wanted him to know that I knew who he was and what he has done, hoping if I just ignore what happened that he won't bother me anymore.

,,Oh don't tell me you don't recognize me~"

He leaned over me and took down his mask and moved his head further down to get on my eye level so I could recognize his face with the two scars at the corners of his mouth again.

,,I just have one question... Did you tell anyone about yesterday..?"

I still tried to brake the intense eye contact as I slowly shook my head, hoping that he'll believe me it.

,,Should I believe you or not~"

He made me feel very uncomfortable, it was not just that he was way too close for my taste, it was the teasing voice where almost no one can tell if he was serious or if he was just joking.

He grabbed my hair forcing me to look him into his eyes as he began to speak.

,,I have the feeling that ,he' would still want you dead... and It would be a shame to let a young girl like you die so early... right?"

Him breathing against my ear and the words he said made me shiver, but I still didn't dare to say a word.

,, Normally... I would've killed you directly... But wouldn't that be such a waste?"

He moved my hair out of my face and stared into my eyes.

Before he moved away from me, he gave me a small piece of paper where a location in Tokyo was written on.

,,Meet me there tomorrow at 10pm... don't worry~ I am not gonna hurt you~"

...

As if I would trust him and just go there without any hesitation...
What does he think I will do?!

Does he really think I'm dumb enough to fall for this shit? I think the fuck not.
