Two months had passed, and Zuma and Ella were left alone again. While Zuma was running an equipment check Ella was deep in thought "how would Tuck react if he found out that i think i might have a crush on Zuma? Does Zuma feel the same? Why do I suddenly lov- no like-like Zuma? What do I do now? Make a 'move' oh Ella what have you gotten yourself into now?" she had felt this way before but was still struggling to make sense of it

"Wait DOES Zuma feel the same about me? I-i need to know, but how? NO Ella you've done this before you should've learned your lesson then. But Zuma isn't like... him at all!" Ella didn't know what to do or think. Meanwhile Zuma was contemplating "do i have a crush on Ella?" Zuma, unlike Ella, has never had these feelings before.

"Thats it im... going to do it" Ella decided she took a deep breath and spoke through her pup-tag "Zuma I want to say something to you"

Back in the basement Zuma was puzzled by the statement "okay, i'm on my way"

"No going back now" Ella thought she wa waiting for Zuma in the mission briefing room

"Hey Ella, what did you want to... talk to me about?" Zuma asked, trying to keep calm "Zuma i think i- " Ella couldn't find the words she wanted "you could've at least given yourself more time to think about what to say!" Ella scolded herself and then she sighed

"This" she leaned in and... KISSED Zuma. Zuma was at a loss for words a thousand thoughts running through his mind Ella backed up and sat down with a hopeful look on her face, but Zuma was just standing there, red as a tomato Ella's hopeful smile started to descend as she started to look at the floor in embarrassment and turned around to walk away when Zuma pulled her back into another kiss. Both red enough for it to be seen through their fur when the kiss ended, neither had felt so alive

"best kiss of my life" Zuma complimented "best kiss of your life so far" Ella corrected

"Does this mean we're a 'thing' now?" Zuma asked

"i guess it does" Ella answered

Just then *DING* The elevator came up as the doors opened. Zuma and Ella couldn't help but flinch at liberty who was badly and obviously injured

"Just let me help you!" Marshall begged

"IM FINE" Liberty insisted

"NO you're NOT fine" it was clear Marshall was losing patience

"just let Marshall give you a check-up" Everest was trying to help Marshall

"I AM FINE!" Liberty yelled

Something inside Marshall snapped he ran in front of Liberty "YOU NEED HELP NOW LET ME HELP YOU" he said under his breath baring his teeth everyone watching was surprised including Liberty and Everest "okay sure" Liberty said "okay follow me" Marshall replied in his normal tone "wow, he finally snapped" Chase yelped "yeah" Tuck agreed as Chase walked away "hi Ella, Zuma" Tuck greeted the two "phew he doesn't suspect anything" Ella thought

(LATER THAT NIGHT): "fi-na-lly" Tuck thought "wait, should i get involved? ... nah Zuma's not nearly as bad as Jackson was. Should I tell them that I know? No... no Ella'ed just break it off and she needs this"
