( not really a shipping one shot but I really enjoyed this and is the main reason I love this ship 💕

Keebo looks down at his new upgrade with satisfaction, he watches the blade slide out as he closed his fist. He didn’t want to hurt anyone, but if he has to participate in the Killing Game to keep his friends safe, he will.
Kaito looked at the blade, a bit nervous at how sharp it was. “woah, kiibo! How'd you get that?”
Keebo looked up, surprised by the other.
“Oh, Kaito. I just got this from my lab. I wanted it for self defense.” His lies sounded a little flat, but he hoped that Kaito’s trusting nature made him not suspect him.
“I guess that makes sense, you never know when you'll need something like that. Just.. be careful with that thing”
That’s when an idea bloomed within Keebo. Kaito trusted him. He can use that trust to his advantage. Upon hearing his own thoughts he hesitated, looking from the blade to Kaito.
He tried to pay no mind to the blade and tried to think of something else to talk about. It still made him a bit nervous but he knew keebo would never hurt anyone with it. Like he said, it was for self defense, nothing more.
Keebo’s mind was whirling with different possibilities, I mean it wasn’t like he was going to hurt anyone (unless he has to) but a plan would be nice.
“So uh Kaito… What were you doing before this?” He asks taking a small step closer to the other.
“nothing much, just some stretching and a small workout”
“You normally do your workouts with Harukawa-San and Saihara-kun. Did they join you this time?” Knowing the timeline was important. Though he hasn’t decided on if he should kill Kaito or frame him.
“no they didn't actually, I wanted to do it on my own this time. Hopefully they don't get mad at me for that.. ”
“They wouldn’t. They are really good people.”
His hand twitched turning the blade towards Kaito. Suddenly his inner voice was yelling at him, yelling to stab his friend. The pain was almost unbearable. He hoped he didn’t look too unstable, he didn’t want Kaito to be on guard
He noticed keebo move the blade, but he stayed still. He just looked at it then back at keebo. He wanted to trust him, he didn't want to think that he was capable of hurting anyone. He just hopped his friend would stop acting like this before anything else happend.
“so uh, what were you doing before this?.. ”
“I did some meditation. Angie insisted that it helps you connect with Atua, and then I got this upgrade,”
He “playfully” points the blade close to Kaito, his smile shaking slightly, “And then I started talking to you.”
“yeah.. and it looks like you really like it..”
He now knew something was wrong, so he tried to quickly think of a way to get the blade away from both of them
“It’s pretty nice I guess…” Uncertainty creeping into his tone. He was trying so hard to understand why his inner voice wanted this so much. Maybe… Kaito is the mastermind? He watched as he inched the blade a little bit closer. Why was he doing this?
He didn't want to hurt him but he had to do something. He looked at the blade then back at keebo again. He stayed still for a momment then quickly grabbed keebo's wrist, pointing the blade away from both of them
Keebo’s stare hardened to a glare as he tried to pull his arm from Kaito’s grasp, but he was way to weak.
“Get off of me!”
“No! What do you think you're trying to do?!”
