Jennifer Jareau, the Behavioral Analysis Unit's liaison, was staring with her pretty blue eyes wide. Her eyed darted to every feature that was on the other girl. That girl being Petra.

Petra currently wore a multi-colored dress with black driving gloves. The young lady's purse was a high-lighter color, and her shoes screamed pink. For her first time meeting the rest of the team, Petra was sure making a first impression. JJ simply smiled and offered a hand.

"I'm JJ."

Petra smiled as she introduced herself to the mother. "That's right! Spence is your son's god-father, yes?"

JJ laughed and said, "Yes, it's true."

Petra smiled and brushed off the skirt of her dress. JJ stared at the pretty girl and asked, "I'm sorry to intrude, but how did you and Spencer meet?"

A grin appeared as she sang, "It started with a whisper! And that was when I-"

"Glad you made it!" Petra turned as JJ stood in bewilderment. Petra dropped her purse and wrapped her arms around Derek Morgan, saying, "Hey there best friend!"

Derek laughed and hugged her back. Derek gave Jennifer a look that said "just go with it" and she seemed to relax, knowing that Derek knew how nervous she felt. Petra pulled away and asked, "Do you know where Spence is?"

Derek furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "Didn't he bring you here?"

She shook her head and said, "No, Penelope let me in. Oh yeah! She is so cool. She definitely a new best friend." Petra swooned as she spoke, not hearing a certain Special Agent's footsteps behind her.

"My oh my, we have another Garcia?"

Petra turned on hr heel as Derek smiled a white, toothy grin. "It seems that way Rossi. This is Petra, Reid's girl. Petra, this is Senior Special Agent David Rossi of the BAU."

David winked at the girl as he bantered, "I'm not a senior yet: I'm only fifty-eight." Petra grinned as she shook his hand happily. Rossi couldn't help but ask, "What in the world made you go out with Spencer?"

Petra's face was of shock. No one had asked her the question, so she didn't know how to say it aloud. She smiled passionately as she stared at her black-painted toes. She rubbed her hands together as she thought. After much contemplation, she finally spoke.

"It's complicated to put into words. I think that this will sum it up though; I went out with him because there is just something special about him that makes me unable to look away. He's some kind of beautiful that makes me nervous, and I love that feeling."

JJ smiled, now understanding. It's not that she didn't before, she just knows exactly how and what Petra feels.

As she spoke her mind, no one had a clue that the doctor himself was standing right around the corner, happiness painted in his light brown eyes.

The night went on happily. That sat around a large table that sat in the middle of a nice restaurant with glasses of wine sitting in each of the group's hand. Petra looked around smiling at the group of friends. Hotchner, who had met them at the restaurant instead, was sitting next to Petra. Pete leaned by his shoulder and said, "You should smile more, Agent, your smile is beautiful."

Aaron, who had already learned Petra'd personality, simply reached over and squeezed her hand. "Thank you."

Petra winked and leaned back on her boyfriend of eigth months. Before she could relax fully, she got a glimpse of the door to the dining room. A figure with an all-too familiar face stood there with eyes that demanded her to come over. As she rested on Spencer's shoulder, she remained still, only staring at the man. People passed between the two periodically, and when she didn't move, the figure revealed a .22 Walther pistol that sat on his waist.

Petra smiled and whispered to Spencer, "I'll be back in a moment."

Doctor Reid smiled at his companion and she began to move away from him.
He nodded and squeezed her hand and let go, allowing her to leave his presence. Petra desperately wanted him not to let her go, knowing what, or who, was waiting for her outside the building's walls.

The red-head stepped into the alleyway looking left and right. She didn't realize how much time had passed since the group had first gotten there. It was dark, but she could make out her old acquaintance in the dark. A cigaerette rested between his lips as he spoke in a rough way.

"You escaped us quite well, Miss Beauregard. I almost lost my composure."

A fire lit up his face as he leaned his smoking stick towards it. His features her one of acne scars, but it made the older man look intense. He was exceptionally pale, however, his dark green eyes made up for it

Petra dropped her happy persona and gave him a flat stare. "You shouldn't have done what you did, Walker."

Levi Walker blew the smoke away from her direction, aware of the fact that smoke causes her to cough violently. He smiled as she continued to stare with a stoic face. He jerked his chin towards the window and said, "Who're they? An assignment?"

The following words dripped off of her tongue like venom, making herself shiver. "Just a few friends from the FBI."

Walker smiled and said, "Do they know you owe me a large debt? It would be a shame for your boyfriend to know your truth."

Petra stepped towards him, chest against chest, and lips almost touching. Their green eyes met as if they were daggers. Her warm green eyes showing the moon dancing in them, his cold ones smokey by his blunt.

"I left that crowd a long time ago, it's too late to point fingers. Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if Agent Garcia already had pulled up files of me to make sure I am suitable for their genius."

Walker smiled and kissed her cheek, his cigarette breath making her gag. He spun on his heel and said, "Don't hold your breath, Ms. Beauregard."

Petra glared at his back as he waltzed away. She never felt so insulted. It was the past, and she fought for it to stay that way. Spencer wouldn't be able to look at her the same way if he were to know. It was dark and she locked it to tight, that even she couldn't open it again.

She walked back inside and saw that Spencer had his hand resting on the back of her chair. She noticed he hadn't moved it since she left him at the table. She slid in and his his cheek, right by his lips. He blushed as Derek whistled. Petra winked at the dark agent and grinned.

Spencer pressed his lips close to her ear and asked, "You okay?"

She nodded and kissed right by his collarbone while no one was looking. "More than."
