Hiro's pov. (Past)

I started debating when I was in grade 5. And I always win. I. ALWAYS. WIN.
When I was in grade 8 I participated in the debating competition at our school. People were rooting for me and expecting a lot from me. The pressure was on.

May nakalaban akong babae and she's really smart. I saw her being kind to everyone. And then it turns out...sya naka kalaban ko

Natalo ko sya.

She was sulking and she looks like she was going to cry. She can't accept defeat. Well kung ako din yan I feel like I won't be able to accept it too

When I was in grade 10 naging classmate ko sya. Hindi ko alam pangalan nya simula nung nagkalaban kami nung grade 8..naririnig ko pero hindi ko maalala.

"Should abortion be legal in our country?" Can anyone in the class share their opinion about this matter?" Our teacher said

She raised her hand wanting to recite.

"Yes, avrrielle." Our teacher let her speak

Avrrielle is her name huh...

"I think that abortion should be legal in our country. Women are entitled to what they want to do with their bodies without being ashamed and being judged. Abortion should be a woman's choice." She said

I wanted to test her. So I raised my hands and disagree with her even though I agree with her

"Okay, yes akihiro" my teacher let me speak

"Abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy. It uses Medicine or surgery to remove the embryo Or fetus and
placenta from the uterus."

I glanced at her and she is staring at me while I'm answering the question.

Her face is judging me I just know it.

Many children are affected by this. I think that those who did it must be punished because a lot of children are being killed. I know not everything or everyone is intentional. But I think that they should live happily. Children that should've lived normally and happily are dying without doing anything wrong. I think abortion should not be legal in our country." I said

"Thank you avrrielle and Akihiro for your honest opinion. You may sit now"

Umupo na kami and I noticed... from time to time she's staring at me

What did I do to her? I just stated my opinion

She stared at me for a second and looked away.

After our class, I rested for a minute naka yuko ako sa lamesa nagpapahinga

I felt someone suddenly appear in Infront of me and started asking my name

"Hi, what's your name?" Avrrielle asked

It turns out it was Avrrielle

"Akihiro. Akihiro khairro salazar" cant she remembers me?

Well, hindi ko din naman sya naalala so... it's possible that she doesn't remember my name..but cant she recognize me?

"Hi!! I'm avrrielle enyz Valeria" she introduced herself

"Nice to meet you Akihiro," she said

"Nice to meet you too," I said

"So..do you really disagree with abortion?" She asked
