Chapter 16 : Adrien's Coming Back

Luka realised what Chat said. He knew what Chat was implying but he didn't want to believe him.

Marinette quickly turned and whiped Chat's mouth with the tissues. Luka interrupts them in a mocking tone, "Is the little kitty so clumsy, he couldn't even drink his coffee without spilling it??"

Chat's grin grew, "Who said it was coffee?"

Marinette smacked the tissue on his face and wiped aggressively in a successful attempt to shut him up.

Could it be? Luka thought to himself before shaking that thought away. There is no way this much was Marinette.

"Are you okay, Marinette? Your colleague told me you were feverish. So I came to check" asked Luka to Marinette.

"Yeah... I wasn't feverish. Chat was just-"

"Be careful Marinette, don't let the cat out of the bag" Chat interrupted.

Marrinette had a habit of telling Luka everything, even the embarrassing stuff, but Chat was right. This wasn't something she should tell anyone, even Luka.

Luka's suspicions only grew. He was furious but he thought confronting her would only push her away.

Chat removed his hoodie revealing his abs. Marinette gasped looking at his bare body.

"Woah! Dude! Not in front of the lady! Not cool, man" Luka said, in a poor attempt to let Mari know Chat wasn't much of a gentleman right now.

"It's alright, LukE, nothing like MY Lady hasn't seen before, right M'Lady?" Chat said placing his arm around Marinette's furthest shoulder. He winked at Luka.

Luka saw Marinette blush. Aubrey was right. They were sleeping together and this situation only confirmed his suspicions.

Luka wanted to push their buttons and there was one perfect way to do so

"Marinette. I know you've been busy these days so I didn't get a chance. I didn't wanna tell you this but, I heard Adrien is coming back."

Marinette was shocked. She knew Chat was Adrien but seeing Chat over and over again for so many years, even if they were all mirages, made him more of a familiar face that Adrien's. At this point, she was more comfortable with him as Chat than Adrien.

Chat was always flirty, funny and charming.  With them having sex, they only grew closer. However, when it came to Adrien, he was just friendly, innocent and distant. Marinette knew that Chat wasn't able to keep his hands off her but as Adrien, he would definitely control himself. Marrinette hated that.

Chat was surprised to hear this. He wasn't planning to come back. He wasn't ready yet. Life was good with Marinette, he didn't wanna ruin it with Adrien in it. He didn't know Luka's motives for stating that.

Could he know? No there is no way! thought Chat.

Luka knew Chat Noir and Ladybug's real identity. During Wishmaker's attack many years ago, he had seen their true self. He intended to never tell anyone as even though he loved Marinette, he wanted her to be happy. Luka knew Marinette and Adrien were meant to be together, he knew only Adrien could make her happy.

Although, when Adrien left, Marinette confided in Luka. She started to forget about Adrien and they grew so close. Luka thought he finally had a chance. Sure, Luka did fuck around other girls, but that was just a void he filled when Marinette wasn't with him. He loved to look at Marinette, especially when he was fucking her, but when he was with other girls, he'd close his eyes just to imagine fucking Marinette. He was so madly in love with Marinette that he wanted to do everything he could to be with, even if it is through sex with no strings attached.
