I go up to my room to change then go to sleep. Before I do, though, I go tell Mitch goodnight and give him one last thanks. "Want to watch a movie," he asks right before I leave. "Sure. What movie?" I ask. "Pitch Perfect." "Sounds good to me." We put on our pj's and lay on the couch. I end up falling asleep right before the finals. I mean I now the girls are going to win, but I like to see how it adds up to the end. I wake up the next morning with Mitch's arm around me. I decide to make breakfast because he always does, so I'll give him a break. "Morning, sweetness." Mitch says as he walks in the kitchen. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and eats the pancakes. About two hours later, I get a call for Alanna, Jerome's girlfriend. "Hello?" I ask. "Did you hear what happened?" I can hear the sadness in her tone. "No, what's wrong." "Jerome got in a car accident." She bursts into tears as she tries to explain what has happened. "Is he okay?" I ask curiously. "I don't know. I'm at the hospital waiting to go see him." "I'll go tell Mitch. We'll be there in a few." I say as calmly as possible. She says okay then hangs up. I tell Mitch what happened and we immediately go to the hospital. "What room is Jerome Aceti in?" Mitch asks the lady at the front desk. "Room 284. Just go up to the second floor and take a right." "Thank you." he adds as we hurry to the elevator. We knock on the door then open it to fine Alanna holding Jerome's hand while crying. The doctor walks in and says, "Mr. Aceti has many cuts and bruises. The crash also broke a bone in his arm, so he will need a cast. Other than those few things, he is good." Everyone left out a breath than we were holding as he told us the result of the crash. Thank goodness he is okay. We all were worried, especially Alanna, who may have thought she lost her boyfriend. The doctor also adds that he will have to stay in the hospital for a week or two, only so they can take x-rays of his arm. We tell Alanna to text us what happens because we have to go.
