Audition Day

Today was the day, I'd been preparing  for the longest. It's time for my first movie audition. Gosh I hope I get this role. I had gotten in to one of my white dresses with pink flowers. I had long hair down to the center of my back somethimes it often got in the way so most of the time I put it in pony tails. Today however I had curled it into nice beach waves. It was a strawberry blonde but in the sun it often looked like it was a golden color.

I walk up the stairs to the door. As I passed through there where many others wanting the same role I did. We all looked similar however, in all honesty, I think I stood out on acount of my skin. Seeing as how I am from kansas my skin is tanned. My sister had told me from the description of the main female character she said I fit it perfectly.

"Mariah Sanchez, you're up" a man said

I walk into the room awaiting for them to tell me when to start. I take a deep breathe and started my audition giving it my very best. They applauded me telling me I did a great job.

About a week had gone by and I hadn't received a call yet. I was starting to think I didn't get the role. Until one morning I was preparing for the day. I did my make up, dressed in a nice outfit.

Ring ring

"Hello?" I say

"Miss Sanchez, this is Alexander, with Los Angelos studios, we're pleased to say you got the role of Lily in 'Lovely Stars" the man says

"Really oh that's incredible!" I say with excitement

"You need to be in the studio this evening to meet the rest of the cast and start the filming process" he says

The day passes by quickly as I prepare myself to meet my castmates. I walk in to the reception area. Stating my name the lady buzzes me through I meet various different members of the cast. I have yet to meet my co star. AKA the love interest of my character.

The movie is set in New York about a girl who falls in love with a bad boy then gets her heart broken multiple times. I dont really know alot about the movie except it is rated R...and I just so happen to be the leading role.

I was at the food area grabbing a plate with some shrimp and a few other things. As I turned around I bumped into someone hard, knocking us both down to the ground. Shrimp flying everywhere getting in my hair, the man fell with me  landing ontop of me.

I dusted the shrimp off my hair. Collecting my surroundings. I look up finaly noticing his face. He was in a white tank top that showed his muscles perfectly, his hair was brown somewhat curly, messy more than anything he had some freckles on his face hazel like eyes. He was gorgeous.

"Sorry my mistake" he says with a deep British accent. That's right the male role was british.

"My appologies I wasn't paying attention" I say he got up extending his hand to me helping me back to my feet.

"Neither was I so we're even" he says "you must be the lead girl, I'm Sebastian Sallow by the way"

"Mariah Sanchez, you must be the lead guy" i say shaking his hand i felt butterflies as soon as i touched his hand. What the hell? I thought to myself.

"I am indeed....Well you're definitely a perfect description of the character," he says looking me up and down

"I beg your pardon?" I ask

"Nothing, you're just, you're very pretty" he says

Wow he doesn't waste time.

"Um thanks" i say looking down blushing slightly.

He's your co worker...don't think bout it those things never work out. We stared at each other for what felt like forever.

"Um, you have shrimp in your hair" he says glancing at my face picking it up out of my hair i blushed again hopefully he didn't notice
