MARIAH'S POV ----

Mom had spent the day getting to know Sebastian. While I made dinner she talked with him about anything and everything.

"She's always been a good cook, you got a keeper" mom says trying to hype me up to Sebastian

"Oh trust me I already know." He says looking at me smiling

Hours go by mom was enjoying not only being with me but Sebastian as well. Sebastian was in the kitchen cleaning dishes, even after I had said he didn't have to. He took it upon himself to do it anyways. Mom and I sat talking on the couch drinking some wine.

"He's good on the eyes you know?" mom says and stares at me "i see how he looks at you, he looks at you the same way you're father did me."

"Mom we've already crossed the ...bridge if you know what i mean" i whispered to her

"Ooh really how was it?.." she asks whispering as well

"Mom, it was..." i started

"Phenomenal...that's love for ya, when you're with the wrong person it always just feels like sex...they call it making love for a reason...when it's true love...nothing else will compare or more likely no one else will compare." She says

"I'm scared mom, what if..I'm wrong about him too?" I ask

"Mariah, he's not Leander, when I met Leander I tried to warn you about him, didn't I? You didn't listen you took his word over mine. Take my word now give him a chance" she says "a man like him is rare in this world and by the way you trusted him enough to let him touch you, to screw you deep down your heart will let you know"

I look at him over in the kitchen watching his arms move as he does his work with the dishes. He turns around removing the hand towel from his shoulder placing it on the stove's handle on the oven. He seen me looking at him and smiled I smiled back.

"Well I think I'll go ahead and let you ladies have your family night, Mariah, I'll see you at rehearsal tomorrow" he says

"No s-stay," i say surprising myself at this even my mother was shocked.

He looks at me confused but surprised as well.

"Sure I don't see why not." He says with a smile sitting next to me on the couch.

We all get ready for bed, I got into a night gown, while Sebastian just stripped down to his boxers. Mom had already went to bed while Sebastian and I sat in my living area watching TV for a few hours.

"You're mom is funny" he says

"I know" i say giggling

"I think she likes me." He says with a smirk I smiled

"I am ready for bed you" i say he nodded

We got up going to my room. My bed isn't as big as his it's a full size but it's big enough for both of us. We got under the blankets he smiles looking at me Staring. He brushed a hair behind my ear. The way he looks at me is new. Leander never looked at me the way he does, it makes me feel, well it's hard to explain. It makes me feel in a sense that, I'm the only person in the world at least to him.

"Did anyone ever tell you, that you have the most beautiful eyes" he says still looking at me. I blushed at his words i smiled looking away "you're blushing"

He brings my face back up to look at him then kissed me deeply. He pulled me as close as he could wrapping his arms around my back. I felt myself getting warm fast.
