Minho's hand rose high into the air, his silver and shining sword glistening in the morning sun.
But as he brought his sword down it collided with the one of the man, the vibration ringing through their bodies as their fierce eyes met in between. The stranger's were just as cold as Minho's.
The brunette was surprised, did the man have a sixth sense or something? He had faced away from him, most likely unable to see the taller but still managed to spin around just in time for their swords to collide.
The smaller's brown, a bit longer, hair flew around his face, swiftly playing in the wind his turn had caused. It looked soft.
The stranger still had that outclassing glint in his eyes, thinking that the rebel was just like all the ones before: easy to take down. But Minho had no intention to make it that simple. And as their swords slowly slid down against the other, both realised that this wont be a soft ride.
The taller was the first to take a step back, but not to make the other win but confuse him. Which worked. With a surprised but victorious glint the smaller stepped forward, angling his sword to take the elder down. Just for said male to take a steady step to the side, swinging his sword and forcing the smaller to give up his steady stand.
He tumbled to the side, being able to dodge the attack with less class but more grace than every man Minho had ever fought before. Not wanting to make his first move useless, the brunette immediately took another step to the side, drawing his sword in a line to make the smaller stumble back even more.
Their swords crashed against the other's over and over again, one always having the higher hand and forcing the other backwards till the dodger was able to make a significant turn to turn their game around.
From farther away it nearly looked like they were dancing, skilfully attacking and averting strikes. Their rather loose clothes added onto that dancing image, and the way their hair was dancing in the wind didn't make it look any less than a graceful play.
But eventually Minho was able to make a step closer than before, realising his chance. And with one swift motion he was able to yank the smaller's sword out of his hands, the shiny metal flying through the air, only for it to clatter down onto the ground.
With one quick look into the elders eyes the younger jumped back, out of the range of Minho's sword to avoid any bruises. Since both were still not harmed at all, only their arms heavy from holding the sword for so long and their feet starting to get less quick.
Minho already made an attempt to jump at the younger till a loud voice called him, "Minho?!", it sounded like one of his rebels and the brunette turned around. He had won the fight anyway. Of course the smaller took his chance and sprinted to get his sword back, his clothes gently playing around his figure.
The rebel turned around, trying to calm his heavier breathing down. His gaze fell onto his men standing around him, all of them with proud and sly smiles around their lips and Minho was quick to realise. "We've won.", Felix informed the elder, stepping a step closer.
With a satisfied nod the brunette approved their win, feeling relieved and happy but wouldn't show it. "Good job!", he stated, nodding, "And I really mean it, every single one of you should be proud of their accomplishments today."
Proud and happy cheer filled the silence which had fallen upon the small village. The sun had meanwhile crawled up high onto the sky, while not a single villager was out of their houses. Minho was relieved, being able to successfully complete part one of their long to-do-list on this road of a revolution.
He turned around again to look for that strange male with those impressive fighting abilities, but he was nowhere to be seen. He had taken his sword and was gone just like he had came: without anyone noticing.
