"Taejun here's a grocery list. I'd appreciate it if you could buy the stuff on it."

Taejun nods. Ever since the flashback and knowing how Jaehyuk lets him stay at his place he's trying to return the favour with every chance he gets.

It's two days after the sleepover and school ended early so he has enough time to do it.

Right after receiving the quest he put on his converse. Slowly he made his way to the supermarket which luckily was less than ten minutes away.

Azalea still hasn't given a sign that she's alive and during that time there hasn't been a quest either, so lately he's been relaxing doing the things he wants to do.

It's pissing him off a little bit since, really, he just wants to earn these damn points.

The list of the things he should buy is quite long so he would take his time choosing the things.

Finally in the store escaping the burning sun and the screaming of little kids he searched for the things on his list.

Going through one of the endless long row of shelves with random stuff on it, he finally arrived in the most important section.
Instant ramyun.

Now that is the thing he expected to see there. And as he reached to grab a pack of spicy x2 ramyun in the third row from the bottom his hand collided with that of another person.

"Oh, excuse m-"

He couldn't finish his sentence since when he looked up, Taejun saw something that he didn't necessarily expect to see in the ramen section of a random convenience store.

He saw the person Jinyeong is blackmailing him with and the one Seungwon helped him get out of the classroom to apologise.

Donghyun.

"Oh hi.. uhm you should take it."

Considering it was the last pack Taejun felt grateful but he couldn't accept it as the apology he gave him a while ago didn't seem to be completely sincere. He didn't want to ruin it more than it already was.

"Ah no you should take it. Thanks though."

Donghyun shakes his head letting his hair fly around.

It looks really soft by the way. Almost as soft as Seungwon's hair and that really means something.

"Thanks for the offer, but it's the last one you should take it."

He pushes the pack in Taejuns direction to which Taejun responds with another push.

Now it's just a battle of strength, and that is a battle Taejun would lose anywhere at anytime.

If he was in his original body he could probably do that with ease but Taejun's is a body that hadn't been trained at all.

"I appreciate it but no-"

Well he couldn't complete his sentence due to Donghyun disappearing faster than lightening after throwing the pack into Taejuns arms one final time.

Not even kidding, he left as fast as he arrived.

Now that was a really awkward encounter.

A deep sigh from Taejuns side before he throws the pack along with some others into his bag.

He'd have to repay his newly found benefactor if he gets the chance to. Taejun really, really hates being in debt.

After walking through all the rows in the store, which were a lot, he collected everything he needed and was ready to depart after paying.

Finally standing in a row by the cashier to pay and leave he noticed the at most 10 year olds in front of him. He was waiting for them to pay off their ice creams and leave, so that he could finally go home as well. But-

"Sorry to say this guys, but you're short on 2$."

He could swear he just saw the life in their pure eyes dissapear. So just for today he satisfies his older sibling complex and pays these two dollars.

"I can cover for them", he says reaching out the money to the cashier that was looking at him in a daze.

"Oh, yes of course!" She answers as quickly as possible after regaining compusure. She was flustered due to his handsome appearance.

Well his charm stat was indeed at [C+] which is just a little bit better than average.

But that doesn't matter right now.

"Thanks umcle!"

"...uncle?"

They all have their thanks to their saviour after one another.

"Do you want to play with us after we finish eating the ice cream? The more the better!"

He thinks for a hot minute before nodding.

'This might turn out to be fun.'

"Sure thing. I just have to bring this stuff home and then I'll be back", he explains to them while packing his groceries in the cloth bag he brought from home.

They nod furiously excited to have their new hero play with them.

"Don't you dare leave and not come back", one of them, possibly the leader of the three, exclaims.

Taejun nods again. Just as he was about to leave he notices something in the corner of his eye. A dog.

He doesn't really know what breed it is but it looked cute. Golden Retriever vibey.

'...This reminds me of something.'

He quickly asks before leaving:"Do you guys mind if I bring a friend?"

The three shake their heads and run ahead to the basketball place near the supermarket.

He pulls out his phone, writes a message and then makes his way home.

Whilst walking he regretted making that promise. It's way too hot for him to do anything, but for some reason he just agreed back there.

You could practically see the heat and the dried out grass doesn't make the view better at all.

'Hah, it's too late to regret it now anyways.'

Soon after he arrives at home, greets Jaehyuk, changes his clothes, says goodbye to Jaehyuk.

The last thing he hears is a "be back at 8 for food."

On his way back he noticed that this was a really stupid decision to make but well who cares.

Playing around in the sun a bit wouldn't kill him, right? Well, spoiler it actually does. Not in the literal meaning but on a spiritual level.

After a short walk he finally arrives at the basketball court in front of the store with a few short children standing there already.

They were three before and now they kind of doubled, or even tripled?

How did they collect that many people that fast...? The power of true extroverts and children is one that beings like Taejun could never comprehend.

At least he's not alone. Taejun grins looking at his friend sitting there with the children on the floor beside the basket on the left side of the field.

'He looks like an elementary student as well, looking like that'.

And Taejun is right with that. If Seungwon was just a little (lot) shorter people could have assumed someone as bright as him was still a child.

Seeing how well he speaks to the children Taejun thinks to himself how he made the right choice to ask him to help him.

Seungwon is really reliable in these kind of situations.
