Draco's Pov:

𝑃𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟. The name rings in my head daily. The infamous Harry Potter, the boy who lived. The legend that is within my grasp, yet he remains untouchable to me. I've tried multiple times to get his attention, mostly by annoying him, but nothing seems to work. He doesn't feel the same way I do towards him. Is this what they call an unrequited love?

Walking down the hallways of Hogwarts, I made my way to potions class, along with the Griffindors joining the Slytherins. This would mean 𝑃𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 would be there as well. "Draco! Wait up!" Pansy exclaimed as she hurried towards me.

Ugh, one of my fangirl admirers. I do admit I'm charming, but I only have eyes for one person - The famous Harry Potter. "Hello, Pansy," I muttered as I faked a smile. We then quickly settled in class. After a moment, the trio then strode in class as usual, chattering away when my eyes fell on Potter. Seeing Hermionie talking to Potter made my chest tighten.

"Dracoo, what're you staring at?" Pansy cooed, startling me in class. "N-nothing. Pay attention in class," I snapped as I shifted my gaze from Potter back to Professor Snape. That's it, I had enough. This feeling in my guts, this feeling whenever I see Potter is driving me crazy. I can't seem to get him off my mind! I have to tell that clueless idiot about my feelings...

Picking up my quilt, I hastily scribbled a note to Potter. Folding it into a paper plane, I enchanted it and blew it towards Potter's desk. He looked at me questionably, mouthing the word "What?". I smirked at him mischievously, mouthing "read it, Potter,".

Harry's Pov:

There were butterfiles in my stomach. Why would Malfoy write me something? I tried to hide my blush when Malfoy flashed me a grin, wanting me to read the note he sent. This better not be another prank again, I thought as I gingerly unfolded the paper.

The note read: 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒖𝒑𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒍𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒂𝒕 8 𝒑𝒎 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓. 𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆. - 𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒐

I swore my stomach did a somersault right on the spot. It was so out of character for Malfoy to behave like this, and a thousand thoughts were spiraling in my head. Is it wrong to get my hopes up? I've always secretly liked him, but what if he doesn't feel the same way? What if all this... is just part of my imagination?

"Potter, eyes on the board!" Snape snarled, "10 points from Griffindor". I glared at Snape and sunk into my seat. The lesson seemed inaudible. All I could think about was the note.

Draco's pov:

Pacing around the common room, relization just struck me - I haven't had enough time to process what I had just done. I'm really about to do this.
"Malfoy?" Harry's voice stopped my pacing around the room.
I took a deep breath. "Po-" I paused. "Harry, I want to show you something first. Follow me, no questions asked," I was literally sweating at this point. I had to buy some time while I calmed my nerves.

"Okay..." Harry muttered as he followed behind me, and we climbed up the spiral staircase that led us to the rooftop. At this time, the sky was dark and surrounded with beautiful stars glimmering in the night sky. Sitting down by the edge of the rooftop, I gazed straight into Harry's eyes.

"Harry," I started, "I don't really know how to say this, but... from the first moment I met you, you've been on my mind since then. You drive me crazy, Potter. Everytime I see you with other people, I get jealous. And it makes me realise... that I want you to be mine,"

"I know you probably don't feel the same way, but-" I was cut off. Before I could finish my sentence, Harry had already slammed his lips against mine. His lips were the softest thing in the world, and it's as if his warmth was shared with me.

Deepening the kiss, I felt his warm tongue touch mine in between the kiss, turning me on. He wrapped his arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around his waist. As we parted lips, he looked up to me and whispered, "I love you too, Draco,"

"Fuck, Harry..." I cursed as I hugged him tightly.
"...Are you hard right now?"
"...Shut up, Potter,"
"I can hear your heartbeat..."
"Then you'll know how fast it beats for you, Harry,"

I smiled, then we cuddled into my bed together, admiring the stars and talked about our favourite things - quidditch, hobbies, the little things in our lives that we wish to share with each other, as we fell asleep in each other's arms.
