Hello everyone :)

I'm Erin and I'm the author of this book and a few more which I just quickly wanted to make this short image for my introvert babies but this could be related to anybody.

Sometimes speaking up is hard no matter the situation and at times you could feel forgotten and/or ignored so I made this image to really emphasize the struggle that a lot of people go through.

The flashback is indeed based on something close that happened to me and really did effect me but my parents have given up the world for me and siblings so this is nothing to be put against them

But other than that I hope you enjoy this short image and have a good day/night :)

Introduction: Ever since Y/n was little, speaking up and asking for things had become a struggle and/or a fear for her so when she goes out with her friends and girlfriend, she finds a struggling trying to ask for something but when they are heading back and seem to have forgotten what Y/n has asked for, memories from her childhood come flooding back and speaking up about what the group has forgotten seems to shake her up.

Y/n's pov

"Let's go eat at Ben's, no?" Niko asked while looking at the whole group before turning back to the road

Our friend group had a habit of getting together quite often and Niko was always the first option to ask to drive us places since he was the one with a car

The rest of us did know how to drive but we didn't have our own car yet

We were only juniors in high school so a car was something we had to earn but luckily for Niko, his parents were angels that generally let him go anywhere and buy him whatever he wants

Even after being practically spoiled his whole life, he is still a humble and kind hearted guy.

"Yeah!" The whole group practically agreed except for me, I wasn't that much of a picky person but today I really wasn't feeling Ben's so I just stayed quiet as the rest were already discussing what they were gonna get

"What about you, Y/n? Do you want to go eat at Ben's?" Sage asked as she looked back at me from the passenger seat, I lightly hummed surprised while looking up at her

Sage was Niko's cousin, they are quite alike and at times get confused as siblings but she is one to really care about the people around her

"Do you not what Ben's? We could go somewhere else" Sage said which panic filled my mind as I looked around at everyone before looking back at Sage

"Oh- oh no! I'm okay just not really hungry.. we can still go to Ben's though, if- if you guys want" I said before swallowing the lump in my throat

"You heard the handsome angel, to Ben's!" River said while grabbing onto Sage's head rest and sitting up straight

River was the typical funny crackhead member of the group

The way we even met him was after me and Niko were paired up with him in class and ended up making our project explode

We were in English.

"It's like a pirate had a baby with an Angel" Cassian said, mocking Drax from infinity war when he met Thor

I rolled my eyes as I leaned over and flicked his head

"That's why your name means 'hollow' in Latin, there is nothing in here" I said while tapping his head again, he pushed my hands away as everyone else laughed

Cassian was someone I met in P.e after we ran into each other while he was trying to catch a football, we became friends and I introduced him to the group which he was immediately accepted
