Chapter 2

A while later, Bruno groans as he wakes up. "Three... two..."

He opens his eyes and sees you above him.

You sigh in relief. "You're finally awake. Had me scared there for a moment."

Bruno slowly gets up. "What happened?"

"You didn't seem too good back there. You ended up passing out and falling onto the ground."

"How did I end up on your lap?" Bruno raises his eyebrows.

You chuckle. "Don't worry, I didn't do anything. I just didn't want your head to hurt so I made sure to support it."

Bruno nods as he sighs. "Close call, ey? Anyway, are you alright? I never asked about your wound." He grabs your arm and inspects it.

In all truth, when he looked like he was gonna pass out you panicked. It took all the strength to stay conscious despite your eyes turning all weird and seeing crazy things.

You smile. "Eh, this small thing, this can't hold me back."

Bruno raises his eyebrows at you.

You sigh. "I'm serious, I'm fine."

Bruno chuckles. Eres linda cuando intentas actuar dura. (You're cute when you try to act tough.)

"Uh, Bruno... are you good to go now?"

Bruno shakes out his thoughts as he nods. He looks down at the address on his arm. "I got this." He stands up.

"We got this." You reassure him.

He smiles as he nods and picks up his weapon. "I need to get my bearings."

You walk out the the garbage area you were in. You roam around and notice something.

Bruno groans. "Ugh... Focus. Just focus..."

"Bruno, I found a map."

You show it to Bruno. "This is 70 Alpine Drive. So Emma Jaunt's isn't far..."

"How close would you say?"

"Just have to cut through this house and we'll be practically there." Bruno says.

You see Bruno walking up the gate but doesn't open it.

"What's wrong?"

"Breaker's missing..." Bruno sighs.

"It should be somewhere around here, right?"

Bruno nods. "Let's take a look around."

You two walk towards the left side and Bruno opens up the garage.

"Let's check in here." Bruno says.

You two go inside and collects any metal parts, scraps, cash, you can find.

"Breaker..." Bruno looks around.

"Is this it?"

Bruno grabs it. "This'll work." He looks up. "A wrench. Bet this will leave a mark."

Bruno puts in the circuit breaker as the gate opens up. "Good as new."

"Bruno..."

"Relax. They can't hit what they can't see..." Bruno says.

You help Bruno defeat the six zombies. You two see a door open and go inside.

"Yo? Anyone—? Oh. Blood..." Bruno looks at the mess.

"Bruno check this out."

Bruno walks over to you. "A maglock. No expense spared. Hey! Anyone alive in there?"
