Will's POV:
A couple days had passed and nothing really happened between Lex and I romance wise. Today is the day of my big test, if I pass it I'll be able to skip out on the class for the rest of the school year. There was only a few months left until summer break.
To be quite honest I didn't want to come back after this semester. I've had a good run in graphic design but University just isn't my thing. Professors don't really get along with me and the courses are pretty labor intensive. Although there isn't many classes on my schedule the work load does get to be too much sometimes. Maybe all the assignments are the reason why I'm addicted to parties.
Some people like to party in their free time here and there, but with me it's a totally different story. The moment I stepped foot on this campus I was at a party. I'd gain a reputation for being a bit reckless on the weekends and an almost perfect student throughout the week. It had nearly been two weeks since my last party and I have been proud on this small achievement. Alexis didn't need to see me as a sloppy mess afterwards. Wait what am I saying? Alexis is just my best friend, no need to be embarrassed about how I act around her. Friends and nothing more, totally platonic.
'Knock knock'
The door to my room opens after two soft pats on the wood and my body forces itself up to greet her.
"Hey, you look cute Lex," I complimented giving her a chaste kiss. She smiles placing her bag gently on my bed then turns around with a rather unsettling look on her face. Not nervous and not upset, but confused.
"I came here to talk to you about something. About your channels in specific." Her tone full on inquiry.
"Yeah what about them?" I sat in my chair spinning around a few times.
"So you do have that gaming channel? I knew it was you," Lex crossed her arms.
"Is that a problem?" I chuckled half-heartedly.
"No not at all I was just wondering why you didn't tell me."
I shrugged my shoulders fiddling with my sleeves pushing them further up my arms, "It just never came up I guess," I was being totally truthful. There was no real need to tell Alexis about my gaming channel because it was just on the side for fun.
"Fair enough," she responds blatantly before falling back on my bed as I grab my bag.
"You can stay here if you want, but I have a test to go take."
"Maybe when you come back we can have some fun."
"Oh?" I raise my eyebrow in question with a smirk on my face. Her eyes dart at me and I knew instantly I shouldn't have done that.
"Not that you pervert!" Lex yells throwing a pillow, but I dodge it.
I leave her there with the image of her small frame laying on my bed imprinted into my mind. Now I definitely wouldn't be able to focus on my exam. With every step towards the test center my feet would drag a bit. Exams weren't my thing, but then again who actually likes to take these things.
Entering the building I find an open seat towards the back. The test packets were handed out a few minutes later. The small stack of paper felt like it was staring at me. My mind was boggled, completely mixed up. Not one question seemed recognizable even though I studied my arse off last night. The image of Lex in my bed just fogged up my process of thinking clearly even more. It will be a miracle if I pass this test with a minimum let alone with a hundred percent.
It felt like hours before I walked out of that horrid place. My hand covered my eyes from the blinding sunlight, although it wasn't that bright outside it was still irritating. On my way back to my room, Brennen had spotted me from across the street, waving me to come over.
"Long time no see Will." He bumped his shoulder into my arm.
"Yo chill, I've been busy with some things," I grinned.
"Well take a load off and come to this party with Alfie and I tonight."
"Alright I'll think about it, I might bring a friend," I told Brennen immediately referring to Lex.
"As long as they're cool, see ya there dude." He left going the opposite way as I jogged up a few steps.
I saw someone taking a picture and it reminded me I hadn't vlogged at all today. Quickly I pulled out my camera turning it facing me.
"Hey guys, so sorry about not vlogging much of today or these past few days for that matter. I've been really busy with studying for this test and stuff." I paused to walk past a few people that seemed to be studying.
"Um, but yeah, like I was saying. I took a really hard test today and you should be seeing a lot more of me now. Might go to a party tonight to be honest." I reached my room trying the door to see if it was locked, it wasn't. My voice instantly lowered to a whisper.
"Guys before leaving to go to my exam I left Lex in my room and I think she's still here." My hand turned the camera around as my foot gently pushed open the door. Alexis was sleeping on my bed and I made the camera close up on her face before cutting it off.
She looked so adorable sleeping with her brown hair spread out on all my pillows. I couldn't help but admire her. My backpack slid off my shoulder and onto the floor. I got closer to her grabbing Lex's hips gently shaking her awake.
"Hey sleepy head wake up. I'm back now."
She yawned giving me a smile, "How'd you do on your test Will?"
"Let's not talk about that right now. Get up though we're going to a party later." My hands left her hips and found themselves back at my sides.
"What party? I was planning on just staying in tonight," Her voice seemed a little strained.
"We don't have to go if you don't want."
"No we can go just a little unexpected is all."
When I heard Alexis agree to going with me my face brightened up. Hopefully I didn't go into party animal mode like I usually did, but there wouldn't be any promises. Especially since it's been a while since my last party. Either way this was for sure going to be a fun night.

Hello lovelies! This is just a filler chapter, sorry it isn't the best. By the way, I was thinking about changing the writing style of this story a tad starting next chapter.
Stay awesome <3
