Treatment 💉

King started reading his book again, just then Kaashvi turned towards his side and was looking pale and weak.
He put his palm on her forehead as he sensed she was sick. Her body was burning with fever he walked towards the drawers and took out his equipments to examine her . She was so sick that she did not sensed the thermometet which he placed in her mouth. Her temperature was 104 degree fahrenheit, he turned her on her side and placed stethoscope on her back , under her t-shirt . Her heartbeat was slow and so was her bp.
He brought ice and water and placed the damp cloth on her forehead, she flinched and opened her eyes.
She was feeling all drained cz she hadnt consumed anything since last evening and almost cried all day, periods also started , all this her body could'nt handle at once.
He ordered his servant to bring Soup .
After 10 minutes servant came in with a bowl of soup. He helped her to sit and asked her ,"Ye pi lo taki mai medicines de doo." She replied ,"Mujhe vomiting jaisa lag raha h ."
He said , "Try karo atleast, baki vomit ke liye dustbin h mere pass."He fed her with one spoonfull after few seconds of which she puked out and said ,"Mujhe ni khana." Started weeping and added further ,"Kuch acha ni lag raha, chakkar aa rahe hain and vomiting lag rahi h ."
King said,"Ab IV ke alawa koi option nahi h, aise to tum aur weak ho jaigi."
She started crying ,"Please mujhe chor do ...mai theek ho jaunngi."
He replied,"Have confidence in me...I m a doctor and I don't leave my patients in sufferings."
He wrote a prescription and send one of his gaurds to medical Store. Kaashvi wanted to change her pad so she tried to stand ,King gently lifted her to the washroom. As she finished her job he again lifted her and placed her on bed gently. Kaashvi was feeling pampered  and was confused about the feelings that were developing for him in her heart.
Gaurd returned with supplies, after which he took out those supplies and put the arrangement for IV. He came near her and sat on stool beside her.
He said , "Daro nahi, bilkul ni lagega bas hanth mat kheenchna ."
Kaashvi was filled with fear, he threw a smile (infectious one) at her and asked ,"Ready?" She nodded.
He took her burning hand between his cold palms and with his two fingures little patted the back of hand to find the nerve , slowly he injected vigo looking at her face for any sign of pain while Kaashvi kept her eyes tightly closed. She did not realized when the task was completed until he said,"Its done."with a smile on his face.
He asked her to relax and sleep and that she would be fine by tomorrow. For the first time since morning Kaashvi smiled at him. He sat on other side of bed and started reading his book again. He checked her after short span of time while she was sleeping soundly. After one bottle of glucose he closed the setup temporarily and slept beside her.
