9. side eye

Ignore the mistakes;

"Hey kid," Taehyung began to talk as jeongguk hummed.  "You have a mobile inside your bag, does your school allows to bring phones?,"

Taehyung can't helped but asks him. "No my school is strict but since teachers and principal respects me and some of the students so they allows it but only me and some rich kids like me, no one else," Jeongguk proudly says.

"Not fair, I mean no one should have allowed to bring or use mobile not even you not even those rich kids you're talking about," Taehyung honestly said as shrugs his shoulder.

"What? Are you jealous?," Jeongguk says and chuckles. Taehyung looks up and down at him with his eyes.

"What's there to be jealous about duh I'm just sad that there is people like that, listening to someone who have money and not to poor one,"

Taehyung sighs as jeongguk looks up at him. "You don't like that kind of people?," Jeongguk questioned him who nods.

"Yeah, they are like....why is it so  unfair? People like them is ready cover someone's crime by money so easily while the poor victims have to suffer, aish why are we suddenly talking about this topic seriously?,"

Taehyung blabbers and chuckles at the end. "So it's unfair hyungie? Will you be happy if my school remove that rule?," Jeongguk spokes and swings their intertwined hands side to side.

"It's not like people will starts to behave equally with other if your school's remove that rule but I will surely be happy at least," Taehyung utters and jeongguk smile a little as he nods.

"Noted," Jeongguk mumble and taehyung looks at him. "Did you say anything?,"

"Oh no no, why don't we just go to eat ice cream? It's so hot here here uff," Jeongguk suggested as he fans himself while huffing and points at the ice cream tank in front of them.

"Good you said that, let's go then," Taehyung smiles widely, looking at the ice cream tank. Jeongguk looks up at him and smile blooms in his face.

"I'd like to have one strawberry flavor and the chocolate one please," Taehyung order it with a smile. "Two corns or mix?," The boy asks.

"We are two people here so two corns obviously," Jeongguk interrupted him rolling his eyes at him who became embarrassed and bows.

"I'm sorry, but wait a minute...here you go. Please enjoy it," He said while handing them a ice cream with a smile.

"Thank you, how much?," Taehyung smiles back as jeongguk grabs their ice cream. Taehyung pull out his wallet and give it to the boy.

He bowed and they starts to walk. "My chocolate one is better than your strawberry, yuck," Jeongguk stuck his tongue at taehyung who rolls his eyes

"Your chocolate flavor sucks, don't say that to my strawberry again, understand?," Taehyung glare at him. 

"Strawberry sucks," He stick his tongue out again. "Chocolate sucks," Taehyung replied.

"No strawberry sucks,"

"No chocolate sucks,"

As always they starts to bicker like cat and dog again, the only different was they are bear and bunny not cat and dogs.

"E-Excuse me," Someone interrupted their bickering as they both stop and look at the woman in front of them.

"I-I'm sunmi. I have seen you for a while now. You both are a-always come here to eat ice cream r-right?," Sunmi said as she tuck her hair behind her ear.

"Yeah..?," Taehyung nods, looking at her confusedly. "I-I want to say something t-to you," Sunmi utters.

"Okay..go on," Taehyung replied as jeongguk looks at her. Judging the way she acts. "I-Is is okay to s-say in front of him," She asks, pointing at him who squint his eyes.  "Side eye," He whispers.

"Excuse me, you are wasting our time with your acting so whatever you have to say tell him quickly and go," Jeongguk glares at her.

"I-I don't know y-your name b-but I l-like you," Sunmi finally confessed as she looks down, blushing slightly.

Taehyung has nothing to answer. What was he supposed to say when a stranger suddenly confessed their feelings to you?

"Uh..well thank you for liking me?," He made it more awkward than it already was.

Jeongguk chuckles hearing his reply. Sunmi looks up and stare at him. "That's what you got?," She asks. "Uh yes, what am I supposed to say?," Taehyung asks back.

"You're supposed to I like you back," She utters aggressively as jeongguk bites his lips. "Sunmi in her mad era," He whisper again but this time she heard him.

She glared at him. "Do you have a death wish?," She says directly to him. "Opps jumps scare," He says, not taking her words seriously.

Soon her face turned red due to anger as she raise her hand to slap him but taehyung quickly grabs her hand and yanked away.

"The hell were you trying to do?," He asks her with his deep voice, sweetness no longer there. "Touch him and you'll be dead meat," He utters.

"I-I'm sorry, I was about to caress his cheeks because look h-his cheeks is c-chubby and cute n-no?," She giggles, looking here and there.

"Oh please I'm not fool to notice that, stay away from us now," Saying that he grabs jeongguk's hand and walks away from her.

He didn't look back at her but jeongguk did, stocking his tongue at her as he scrunch his nose. Teasing her.

After walking more than 10 minutes in silence, taehyung finally opens his mouth to speak. "Why did you keep saying that?," He asks.

"What? That side eye and jumps scared? It's just I saw that in tiktok and wanted to try so I did," Jeongguk replied as he laughs.

"Do not try something like that to strangers again okay? You never know what will they do to you," Tae scolds him lightly. 

"I can't promise that, I'm a curious person and always wants to do everything," Jeongguk giggles, looking up at him as he finished his ice cream.

"You know curiosity kills cat," Taehyung replies, as he bends slightly and wipes his mouth.

"I know that but I'm not a cat, I'm a bunny," Jeongguk utters as he smiles, front teeth poking out.

"Aish you brat," Taehyung face palmed, so done with him and his naughtiness.
