I came out of the gates of my school very happy as i finally held my nursing certificate at hand.
I sat beside the gate waiting for my friend Khadija to arrive. 30 minutes later, a car stopped infront of me, it was Khadija.
" What took you so long, you were suppose to come pick me at 2:30pm now it's almost 3:30 "
" Calm down, I was stuck in traffic, hop in let's go" said Khadija.
The road to the house was a one hour drive so Khadija proposed a short cut to which i refused because the last time we took a short cut, we almost got kidnapped. But after insisting for so long, i finally gave in.
She took a road that was less prompt to traffic. As we kept going, i noticed a group of people surrouding a man hence blocking the road. We stepped out of the car to see what was happening and found a man's lifeless body lying on the ground. He must've had an accident.
We thought he was dead but immediately we came closer, he opened his eyes and looked at me because i had now pass the crowd and was standing infront of him. I got chills on my throat and my hands were shaking. This man was scary.
After staring at me for a while, he fainted again leaving me speechless. I looked at him and he was very shaby. I asked Khadija to help me put him inside the car so we can go with him to a hospital." What!! Najma you and your kind heart. One day you will help a ghost"
"Do you prefer we let him die here, there's no other car here except yours"
She finally accepted while grumbling. When we reached the hospital, the man was put under treatment. I and Khadija sat at the waiting room. After a while, we heard loud noises coming from the patient's room. We entered to see the nurses panicking and everything scattered in the room.
