I'll never forget the night we met, where 5 minutes into our conversation you roasted me, then suggested we get breakfast the next day and then we actually did. I'll never forget how you could make anyone in the room laugh especially me. I'll never forget how ready you were at all times to beat anyone up that even laid a finger on me. I'll never forget our trip to Hawaii. I'll never forget how much you didn't care about what people thought of you and how much you inspired me to do the same.

I'll never forget how much you secretly wanted to be a singer and would always come to me for singing advice, you had some pipes bro. I'll never forget how many people you introduced me to when I felt more lonely and more left out than I ever have in my life. I'll never forget the example you showed me of loyalty and love that you endlessly and tirelessly gave to all your friends and family. I'll never forget the light you had in you that could brighten up any situation, any room, any person. I'll never forget pulling you out of that car.

For a little bit it felt like such a curse seeing you in the condition you were in that night. But what a blessing. I got to see you one last time. And I know you heard me there beside you. I know that you know that I love you, and for that I'm grateful. I'm just so blessed to have known you. Thank you for everything you did for me Garrett. All the ways you helped me. I'll never forget any of it.
