Back to shadow and sonica who ran down the hill laughing at their success.

Shadow: All right! It worked!

Sonica: We lost him.

[Shadow lifts his chin pridefully.]

Shadow: I am a genius.

Sonica: that was awesome!

Shadow: Come on, i think we're almost there.

[As they kept walking sonica thought about what knuckles said and thought that even thought she highly doubt they would marry but would they still remain as friends?]

Sonica: Shadow?

Shadow: Hmm?

Sonica: even when you become king, would you still be my best friend?

Shadow: [ surprised] what? Of course. Why would you ask that?

Sonica: well I mean if you think about you would be a high and mighty king while I'll just be a lowly gardener or farmer.

Shadow: Hey look at me. You won't be a lowly farmer. Your my best friend and nothing will ever change that.

Sonica: promise Mr you will never forget me.

Shadow: I promise.

[ They both hugged but the moment was interrupted by A nearby geyser erupts.]

Shadow and sonica: [gasp]

[As the steam clears, Shadow and sonica notice a nearby ridge, over which an mobian elephant skull is barely visible. Shadow creeps closer, a grin spreading across his face. Together, the pups climb the ridge to view the skull.]

Shadow:This is it. We made it.

[Shadow and sonica jump up on one of the skull's tusks and overlook the land. It was a volcanic with a bunch of geysers and creepy skeletons of unfortunate mobians who came to this land. The two exchange awed looks.]

Shadow and sonica: Whoa!

Sonica: It's really creepy.

Shadow: Yeah. Isn't it great?

Sonica: We could get in big trouble.

Shadow: I know! [chuckles]

[Shadow and sonica approach a cave.]

Sonica: I wonder if the so called Destructix are in there.

Shadow grins deviously.

Shadow There's only one way to know. Come on. [Simba walks toward the cave.] Let's go check it out.

Knuckles suddenly got in front of Shadow, blocking his path.

Knuckles: Wrong! [ knuckles shoos Shadow away from the cave.] The only checking out you will do will be to check out of here. [Shadow reluctantly walks away.]

Shadow: Awww, man!

[Knuckles glaresat shadow.]

Knuckles: We're way beyond the boundary of the kingdom. [Shadow ducks down to Zazu's level.]

Shadow : Look! The anteater is scared. [snickers]

[Knuckles push shadow with a humph]

Knuckles: It's Mister anteater to you,and im not scared. Im the wise one here. And right now, we are all in very real danger.

[Knuckles looks around while Shadow strides past him.]

Shadow: Danger? Ha! I walk on the wild side. [Shadow pauses in front of the cave, crouching low.] I laugh in the face of danger. [Shadow rears back his head dramatically.] Ha, ha, ha, ha!
