Violet woke up with a start, sitting up immediately. Her hands searching her body for any wounds. She could've sword she just had a sword through her chest, goddamnit why was it so damn hard to see, "Apprentices! Get up!" Someone yelled in Violet's direction. Which is when she noticed she was still in her button up with her cream vest and blue bow tie. Huh.
Falling in line with the other members who woke up like she did, they walked into a large building. Orientation as the blurry figure called it. She didn't care, just as long as she got answers. She tucked a piece of her white hair behind her ear and kept going. Multiple other people were staring at her, for some reason.
The group eventually got to an area where they were given temporary glasses, Violet could see now. But her sight was still impaired. It would do for now, "Anyways. Since someone screwed up the pairing system last year. You fresh meat will be paired up with senior reapers." The old one said as the line moved forward to get assigned.
"Next." The male said and Violet approached, "Ah, Ms. Violet Jasper. You will be paired with Grell Sutcliff. Grell! Come get your apprentice." A red headed female(?) came bounding over, "Yeah yeah, come in newbie." She grabbed Violet's arm and pulled the female to what seemed like the older reaper's office.
"What's ya name?" The elder reaper asked, "Violet.. Violet Jasper." The reaper's eyes widened, "As in, The, Violet Jasper?" Violet shifted uncomfortably. A cough came from her, "Yes.." The read head cackled, "We're gonna get along reaaaaal well, the only broads in dispatch!" Violet feigned a smile.
