"Nope, but let me clear for you again that I am not interested in this marriage, and as you know everything keep this in mind that I may never accept you, got it??" Asked Sid.
"As you have a clear statement, let me clear my side too. I thought to refuse to this marriage after our first meeting but after knowing about your past I know that you are not at fault, your only mistake is not taking a step to move on from that incident and that's it. And if you can't leave your past behind and want to hurt yourself with all those incidents again and again then deny this proposal today itself as you know tomorrow our engagement date will be fixed or else if you choose to marry me you will have to accept me as well no matter what" y/n made her statement clear.
Sid was out of words before he could think of something she wished him a good day and left.
Sid was completely blank her words were torturing him, it was true that whatever y/n said had affected him. All her words were so true.
at night Sid was going through SM's pictures on his phone, he had some leftover work but he was unable to focus on it. after the meeting with y/n, her words were ringing in his ears.
Vibha came there to call him for dinner and found him lost in his phone.
"Sid" called Vibha. "yes Mom" said Sid hiding the pictures. "you do not need to hide, I know what was in it" she said. "Mom I can't forget all---" "You have to, Sid sometimes it's better to leave the past there in the past itself, holding on to it you will only hurt yourself and nothing else" vibha made him understand. sid just kept on listening to her.
"Just tell me, don't you want yourself to be free from all this??" Vibha asked. sid too wanted to move on but somehow he was stuck in his past unwantedly.
"look Sid, I indeed want you to move on but at the same time I do not want you to get married forcefully, I want you to accept this marriage by letting go of your past, or else I will call off this marriage" said vibha for which sid didn't reply.
