The Midnight Flower...

A Normal Day (or maybe not...) Part 2

The first two session had ended and it was break time at 11:00 , Claire took out her snack out of her bag, she had a quite plain snack, it was just a few crackers/chips and a protein bar. After she finished her food she still had 13 minutes left so she decided to look for Bri and go to the school garden together. 

After like an hour/2 minutes of looking for Bri Claire finally gave up and went to the school garden, as Claire entered the doors she heard some voices so she hid behind the door.

"You think this will work? The flower sure is stubborn. And I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this  purple, it's supposed to be more pearl coloured rather than purple." said a deep gruff voice.

"I don't know your the expert with flowers and lunar eclipse things." said another voice, that voice sounded higher pitch Claire assumed it was a girl/lady. "But if this works it'll be worth millions and we can finally prove those fools wrong..."

"I sure hope it works... think it's going...success..."

"I don't...it looks wrong..."

Claire tried to listen to the rest of the conversation but after a few moments they became silent and the back door shut. Claire silently poked her head out to check if they had actually left, the coast was clear and Claire quickly ran and had a look at the garden to find the 'flower' they had been talking about.

Claire checked in all the sections she new but couldn't find anything unusual, she then decided to inspect all the purplish flowers as that person said something about it being purple, Claire checked and checked until someone opened the green, garden door wide. 

"Claire? You here?" called someone.

"Bri? I'm here, in the purple tulip section!" 

"There you are, I've been looking for you for soooooo long. We've got two minute till the end of snack time!" said Bri as she stepped next to Claire, "Anyways what are you even doing here?"

"Well... It's kinda a long story, I'll explain it to you while we go back. We don't want to be late!" Claire replied and grabbed Bri's arm and ran out of the garden.

"So it all started the moment I entered the school garden to look for you..." And Claire explained the whole thing to Bri just in time before they entered the classroom. 

After that session had ended they then had History with Miss Morrow who had the most robot like voice in the whole universe. "History..." sighed Claire as she sat down but when she sat down she accidentally bumped her shoulder into a girl with dark curly hair.

"Oh sorry." muttered Claire as she fumbled to pick up her pencil which she had just dropped.

"It's fine." said the girl and she turned back around to face the front.

After all her classes, the day had finally ended and Claire was outside waiting for Bri to come out when suddenly she heard a voice.

"Come on, this way, if we don't move it in soon they're gonna find out! Hurry up!" grumbled someone in a gruff hushed voice and Claire heard the thump thump of something moving near her. Claire suddenly realised that the person sounded familiar, that was the same person she saw in the school garden before!

Claire followed the strange people all the way to the school garden and as they entered the garden Claire finally saw their faces. The person carrying a strange object was a young man with dark hair and and piercing blue eyes and the person guiding him was a lady who looked just like him but with brown eyes.

"Come on put the teleporter here." said the lady as she motioned for him to put it right next to a strange purple flower and a translucent looking orchid. After the man placed it there something happened. The floor started to shake slightly but not intense enough to alert anyone and the strange purple flower started glowing brightly. Suddenly a hole appeared in the middle of the garden. 

"Woah." gasped Claire quietly as she watched everything happen.

Then the lady took the teleporter and jumped into the whole with the man following behind "What the-," muttered Claire so she decided to come closer to the hole, "it wouldn't hurt if I went in..." 

And then Claire jumped in the endless hole...
