Sportacus POV
I want to attempt to look presentable so I go into the bathroom. As I walk I realize I smell like shit so I decide to take a quick shower. I want to smell my best. One thing I have realized about women they love the smell of clean fresh men. Plus I need to get my mustache on point.
Once I was as presentable as I can possibly be I make my way to the house. I wonder what my mate will look like. I will love and protect her regardless of her physical appearance. I do have my preferences though. I hope she has a thick curvy body. I always like some meat on my women.
I am walking to her house instead of flipping. Which is odd for me. I realize I am actually nervous about meeting my mate. What?! I am Sportacus #10 Lazytown's Slightly Above Average Superhero. I don't get nervous.
As I make my way to her front door her scent smacks me in my face and I get lost in it. She smells of strawberries, freshly mowed grass and of the icebergs of my homeland. I detect a burnt almond smell. It's not potent but it is still detectable. That smell is usually associated with anxiety and fear. I wonder what she may be scared of. I take a few calming breaths to center myself before knocking on her door. The last thing I want to do is overwhelm my mate with my presence.
I knock on her front door and I hear a melodical voice yell out "Coming. Please give me a minute". I laugh to myself when I hear her curse at herself being clumsy and kicking something out of the way.
When the door opens it is just a crack at first. I see one caramel color eye look at me from behind glasses. She looks at me curiously before opening the door all the way. When I see her full form my breath catches. This beautiful creature was meant for me. I never want to let her go.
