Sophie Foster stumbled upon Annabeth Chase near the edge of a dense forest. Leaves rustled under their feet as they cautiously approached each other.
Sophie furrowed her brow, trying to make sense of her surroundings. "I was just at Foxfire, studying, and then suddenly I'm here. This place feels... different."
Annabeth nodded, her hand unconsciously resting on the hilt of her sword. "I was on a quest with Percy and the others, and then it's like we were transported to a whole new realm."
As they exchanged bewildered glances, a deep voice resonated through the air, causing the ground to tremble beneath them. They turned to see a centaur, Chiron, emerging from the shadows.
"Welcome, young heroines," Chiron boomed. "You have been brought together by a prophecy, a prophecy that foretells grave danger looming over both your realms."
Sophie's eyes widened with curiosity. "What kind of danger? And what does this prophecy say?"
Chiron's gaze turned serious as he recited the prophecy:
"When worlds entwine, the fate is entwined, A darkness gathers, peril unconfined. A Keeper and a hero, united they stand, To save both realms, lend a guiding hand."
Annabeth's expression mirrored Sophie's concern. "We can't ignore this. Our worlds are at stake."
Determined, Sophie nodded. "I'm in. We'll do whatever it takes to protect our realms."
Chiron nodded approvingly. "Very well. To fulfill the prophecy and thwart the imminent danger, you must embark on a quest. The first step is to seek guidance from the Oracle of Delphi."
Sophie's brows furrowed. "How do we find the Oracle?"
Chiron smiled sagely. "The Oracle is known to appear in moments of great need. You must journey together, traversing dangerous landscapes and facing mythical trials. Only then will you receive the wisdom to unravel the prophecy?"
Annabeth's grip on her sword tightened. "We won't falter. We'll face whatever challenges lie ahead."
Chiron's eyes gleamed with confidence. "I have faith in both of you. Remember, united you stand, and together, you shall prevail."
