I am in the locker room getting my SWAT vest on when Emily walks in.

"Hey." She says and I turn to her. "Hi." I say and she smiles.

"How...How have you been?" "Good thanks. How about you?" I ask and she nods.

"Yeah, not too bad. How have you been holding up with everything going on with your mom?"

"Want the honest answer or the answer I keep telling everyone?" I says and she raises an eyebrow.

"Honest."

"You're gonna have to hold me back from the man who took her. Cause I will beat the living shit out of him when I get there." I say and she nods.

"To be honest. I don't blame you." She says and I smile trying to get the back of my vest on but can't reach.

"Here. Let me." Emily says and I smile as she does my vest us.

"Must be exciting working for SWAT. All the different things you get to do."

"I mean, yeah it is." I say touching my ear. "But?" Emily says and I frown. "No. No but."

"Come on. I know when your lying." She says and I shake my head. "No, no. No, you don't."

"You touch your ear each time you lie." She says and I shake my head touching my ear. "No, I don't."

"You just did." She says and I roll my eyes shutting the locker.

"Zip it. Let's go." I say pushing her out the room.
