The weather is fine – sun is shining brightly but not too hot because of the gentle breeze. Even the birds enjoy flying under the blue, cloudless sky and not the slightest hint of rain seen in their horizon. Everything is bright and peaceful like a world peace will stay forever.

But that world is applicable only outside Ateez High School. Though the whole structure and facilities of the school is normal, the atmosphere in Class 2 – 4 is on the brink to create another world war.

Who would have thought that in this school year, the president and vice president of three famous clubs in the school are going to be in the same class? All of them are well respected by their club members, but they are very much competitive that the word 'losing' does not exist in their dictionary.

The homeroom teacher should have made the mood lightly. Instead, he is just there in the corner with an open book on his face: dreaming, sleeping soundly.

No one in the classroom seems to dare to breathe. The silence is suffocating. As if a rule's been set without talking, that the first person who breaks the silence is the loser.

"Ah, what's the issue again here?" Mari whispered to her seatmate.

"Can't you read the atmosphere?" Rynn hushed irritably.

"Ah, no. I am not into books. Sorry," she yawned. Obviously, sleeping is her forte in life. She must be a relative of their homeroom teacher.

Mari saw her eyes rolled in disbelief. "Don't you know who are our classmates? We have the well-known leaders of clubs in one class. This is so rare; do you understand me?"

"No. I'm as slow as Slowpoke."

"Heaven's."

Rynn was obviously annoyed how honest her seatmate is being slow-witted. She pointed out six guys sitting at their own corner. They are not facing each other but it was obvious they are aware of each other's presence.

"Don't you recognize them? Are you a transfer student?"

Mari looked at the guys that Rynn pointed out and named them one by one. "Ah, it's Woo Young and San from Baseball Club, Yun Ho and Jong Ho of Biker's Club, and Hong Joong and Seong Hwa from Calligraphy Club."

"So, you know them after all."

"Of course, I know them. Their names and faces in posters are in every corner of this school. But that does not answer my question. What is the main issue here? It feels toxic I want to throw up already. Is someone fighting another classmate? Has someone died, or killed someone?"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. I was asleep so I really do not know what is happening."

"Fine," Rynn gave up and sigh. "Today we have to choose who will be the class representative, but we have three amazing leaders here from those clubs to choose from."

"So, we are pretty much divided here," she concluded. "Why not go for a vote? We are free people anyway?"

"As if each one of them will back down to take the position."

"What is the catch then? Is being a class representative that important? Will there be a long-lasting world peace?"

"No. But I'm pretty sure, it will be a good memory once they got united."

Both Mari and Rynn turned their heads and saw Kang Yeo Sang – the most beautiful guy in Ateez High. He had this satisfied smile on the face while the two girls are trying to pick up their jaws from dropping on the floor because of his sudden appearance.

"You're the great student council president," Mari finally gasped.

"And I'm in your class as well. It's a pleasure to meet you both." He offered his hand for a handshake and the girls doesn't know who should take his hand first.

Yet before they can even make the initiative to take his hand, the door suddenly slammed-open and another striking handsome guy entered. All eyes followed him until he sat at the vacant seat in the middle of battlefield and opened the book he's carrying. He seems to be a new student and the representatives from each clubs were eyeing him like he's a trophy to be won.

The tension around the classroom took another notch. It became heavier as the leaders of respective clubs make a simultaneous move towards the new student. As if the time freeze when they finally surround him. But their eyes were not on the newbie. Seong Hwa, Yun Ho and Woo Young are having a staring battle, waiting who will attack first.

It's like a ticking bomb as seconds pass by when a gush of wind entered the room and a single leaf in the air was left there in the center of battlefield. Slowly, the leaf descended towards the newbies table who doesn't really care what's happening around him.

Every student in the room holds their breath, like their life for the rest of school year depends on the result of this silent war.

But instead of the drop of the leaf, the sound of Windy's phone made the three shouted the same words at the same time.

"Rock, scissor, paper!"

"Oh, he won," Emma gasped.
