I was running in this big city, not knowing from where to start or where to go. Paris was a huge land that I'm not used to it, so it was so hard to me to find my way through this big number of people going around me. I lost my friends while making a stupid joke that I regretted few minutes later. Now, I'm turning around and around from place to place running and trying to find a way to get to my friends.
It was getting darker and the sun was leaving the sky in some slowly motions. I grabbed my phone and recalled Antonio for the 30th time, and as usual, he didn't pick up. I called all the band and tried to get them all but nobody answered, the only girl in group was Fairy and she was my last hope. If she doesn't pick up, then I'm screwed up.
And I was screwed up.
Seeing that it's already dark, I looked for a hotel to stay in for the night, and tomorrow morning, I'll get to the airport by my own. "I'll kill you all" I groaned while thinking of my stupid friends. Our competition is in few days and they're playing those heavy-stupid-immature-not-funny jokes! We were supposed to be on our way to Tokyo for the preparations, but no. I'm still stuck in this city trying to find out how to communicate with French people and their no understandable language. I've never loved school or paid attention to French class, and never regret it. Till now...
I went into a hotel that looked great, went ahead to the reception and asked:
- Can I have a room for the night please?
- Of course sir. Welcome. It is a single or couple room?
- Single please
- Ok. Here is your pass card, your room's the 158th on the third floor, bloc F. Have a nice stay.
- Thank you.
I thanked her while trying to hide my anger because honestly she was so nice to me. Why am I angry? Well, my stupid friends left me in a city where I don't know anybody and seem to leave the country without telling me. Also, there's this little lady here to look at me like if I'm an alien. "Like really girl get your eyes off me!"
I walked to the elevator and tried to avoid her looks but unfortunately, she just came in it at the last moment and both of us were stuck there. She looked at me then smiled with her I'm-perfect-with-my-ugly-lipstick smile so I smiled back with something that looked more like a squeeze than a smile.
When the elevator –finally- got to the 3rd floor I got out of it and started walking ahead to bloc F, but this ugly-sticky-I-think-I'm-a-queen lady kept on following me. "Go away from me like what is wrong with you?" I screamed silently to her.
I was getting closer to my room and thought finally never seeing her again, but as the bad lucky I am, she was always behind me. Suddenly, I turned around and asked her:
- Do I know you?
- Excuse me?
- No, you excuse me!
- What?
- What? Please stop following me
- I'm not following you!
- Yes you are!
- I'm just going to join my room!
- Then go ahead and leave me alone you're freaking stressing me!
- Calm down men!
- Ok, sorry
- Yeah sorry dah! Which one's your room?
- The 158th
- Oh really? –she looked at me with an amused look- Just in front of mine! I can come and visit you tonight if you want...
- No thank you.
- Oh you're not single then? Not surprising! You look too good to be single
- No, I'm single. It's just that I'm not into girls. I'm gay.
- Oh wow...
- Yeah wow! Good night.
I left the sticky-ugly-queen-of-stupid stuck in her place and went into my room. It was a long day.
