Catching Feelings [COMPLETE!]

Chapter 7: PROM

Ava's POV

Immediately the light goes on and I see Fabricio and Rodrico in twin suits, each holding a flower bouquet and we're all surrounded with many students from our grade.

OMG this is unreal.

One of the guys holds a large poster that has huge letters on it: PROM. Underneath that there's a picture of me and Fabricio and on the other side a picture of Jess and Rodrico and a small box where it says YES or NO for both of us.

A DOUBLE promposal? That's so cute! Nobody has ever done it before. So creative, right?

I look at Jess in excitement as we get handed two pens each and we cross the YES together under our pictures.

Everyone cheers and we all hug. 

"You guys almost shit yourselves." Fabricio laughs.

"It was hilarious. It's all on tape by the way." Rodrico smiles.

"Fuck you both for scaring us. But it was really cute at the end." Jess smiles.

"Double promposal. Nobody has ever done that before." I say.

"Well, we want the best for our favorite girls." Fabricio grins.

"Exactly." Rodrico smiles.

"Awww aren't they just adorable." Jess says in a gushing voice.

"They sure are." I smile.

I go up on the stage to give my speech to the school, to my parents and friends.

"Greetings, everyone. We are all gathered here today to celebrate the graduation of the 2023 seniors. First, I would like to thank my family. To my mother and father for raising me to be the girl that I am today. To my dearest cousin, who has been with me at all times in this journey, you're like the sister I never had. To my friends, thank you for making this year memorable and there's been a lot of laughs. To my teachers and to the staff members and to our principle, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Without you, I would not be here waiting to get my diploma like the rest. Lastly, I want to congratulate everyone again for the final time as I don't think I will get another opportunity to talk to a huge crowd like this again. Thank you everyone, and congratulation for the seniors of 2023!" I smile as the crowd claps loudly and cheers for me and I go to get my diploma and take a picture next to our principle.

"Girls, I am so proud of you both." Dad says as he and mom look at us one final time before we leave to prom. 

"You guys are stunning." Mom says and she tears up.

"Awww mum." I hug her. 

"Come on! Fabricio and Rodrico are waiting for us!" She squeals.

"Alright then, let's go! BYE MOM, BYE DAD!" I say and we go out.

This time we go separate cars as it's prom and there's an entrance and whatever.

I try not to trip over my long, red satin dress as I reach Fabricio's car.

"Look at you, you're stunning. I don't think I'll be able to take my eyes off you tonight." Fabricio grins.

"Good. You better not." I smile as he drives away.

The scenery at prom is beautiful as I dance with Fabricio. Not too far away I see Rodrico and Jessica slow dancing as well. They looked amazing together.

"Don't they look amazing?" I tell Fabricio.

"They do. But so do we." he smiles.

"I'm so happy I met you at the right time of my life Fabricio. I don't think I would of survived this year without you." I said.

"Well, I'm glad I moved here. I was sure I'd regret my decision at first. But now, I know it was the best decision I'd ever made." he says.

"Fabricio. I love you so much." I smile.

"Me too, mi amor." he says softly as he kisses me under the night sky. 

I have never felt so happy before. I had the best senior year ever. With my friends, family, and Fabricio, life will never be empty for me.
